Removing front tow hooks

    Have you had issues with the shackles swinging and hitting the bumper or were you able to get them snug enough so they don’t move?

    No not at all I cranked them down as tight as I can and they're pretty well in place20200308_151420.jpg

    I didn’t use the shins in the box and they just hang down and I never have problems with them up there. Even used them about two weeks ago to anchor a small Jeep down for him to winch someone out of a snow bank lol. We got 5+ feet of snow in about a day n half up on summit county. That day I used the tow straps to yank a few out

    yeah mine dont make noise either, i noticed the powdercoating has kinda rubbed off where it would make contact so it must hit at some point but i never notice it

    Grill, bumper, light kit.
    Can I just remove the tow hooks and not replace them with new ones? Just reinsert the bolts? I have a steel bumper with shackles on it, the too hooks just look awkward handing out down there now. Thanks!!!
