I am in the long and lengthy process of reducing the cigarette smell in my truck from previous owner and wondering if anyone happens to know where the system pulls in the cabin air to recirculate while ac is on and in recirc position? I have a can of lysol with its name in it

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
This will show you where the outside air intake is.
Your cabin filter is in/behind your glove box. I'd change it, and while you have the old one out, give it a cleaning. Maybe shoot some Lysol in there and in the vent tubes.

Here's a link for disassembling the dash. While a bit of a task, it would allow you to get the vent off. From there you could reach down into the vent tubes and give them a good wipe down.

    Good luck!
