Rear window power slider conversion

    No shit, I'll bet it is! But given a choice between a virtually unusable manual slider vs a solid window, I'd choose solid.

    Agreed. I never use the slider and when I had a CM, never rolled the glass all the way down. I like my cab privacy and don't care for randos having full purview of my inner mobile sanctum :p

    So I'm still trying to make sense of the best way to accomplish adding the powered slider to an SR5 with the manual rear slider.

    Are you replacing the entire assembly or just the center slider and retro fitting the motor and other powered components?

    My manual slider is a center split, with 2 moving pieces of glass that slide away from one another.. is this the same slider you guys are converting from to go powered?

    Appreciate any clarification!

    The entire back window had to be changed. You can't just replace the center glass. Here is the thread as I just did mine 2 weeks ago.
