Here is the "how to" for the Double Cab manual to power rear sliding window conversion. Thanks to @Cruzer for pictures to assist with the motor location and also @CharlestonJoe for his pictures for the wiring portion.

The fixed window must be changed. The track is different since the manual window track does not have the rigid frame to mount the stoppers. It also does not have the cable pass through or retention area to secure the cable sleeve. Unless you have glass experience, I would not recommend trying to change the window yourself. It took the glass company an hour and a half to get the old one out. The urethane has to be cut and there is plenty of it. It was cute with a curved blade style tool, not piano wire. The piano wire will chew up your paint.

As you can see, my SR5 did not come with the 3 mounting tabs for the motor plate. I made a plate out of a piece of maple. I installed 3 rivnuts into the maple for attaching the plate. I also installed two rivnuts into the back wall to secure it. When drilling the holes, take your time or you will hit the forward side of the bed once you get through the metal.

    64810-0C080 Main fixed window $215

64807-0C010 Sliding window $70 (It does not come with the main window)

    69088-0C010 Regulator $45

67207-0C010 Glass stopper (comes with 2 in pkg, the supplied screws are Torx T10) $15

    85710-0C110 Window motor $235

69811-0C020 Window motor mounting plate $50.00

82998-12790 Terminal repair wire (2 required) $14.80 each

    90080-87025 Relay (2 required) $58.00 each

    84810-0C120 Window switch $57

00000-00000 Window motor connector (researching part number)

90105-A0014 Regulator mount bolt (2 required) $0.96 each

90080-14057 Window motor screw (3 required) $1.25 each

90178-A0025 Flange nut $1.20 each (3 required, if you have the mounting points)

That is easy if going from the one piece window to a manual slider. Remove the current glass and install the new one. The OEM manual slider from Toyota is around $275 or so.

So excuse my ignorance on this. Why couldn't you do the same window setup as in the crewcab version? What's different between the two versions?

The CrewMax window drops down. The design of the cabs rear wall is different than the DC.
