Rear brakes, any advice?

If you've done rear brakes on the gen 3, did you encounter any issues or hardware hang ups?
Any pointers?
Special tools?
Is it just a straight forward as the front brakes? (Cuz I've done those easily)

Ended up doing rear pads only. Only had 30,000 miles and discovered rear pads significantly worn. I did not change rotors because I figured if I had a problem I could replace them then. Removed the e-brakes and used a torx to back them off. The procedure to put the e-brake in service mode does not work on the Tundra. Made sure to lubricate the slides. Like you said just straight forward.
I ended up getting new pads from rock auto. I got the Power Stop Z36 pads.

 

I wanna do mine also. Tired of waiting on the dealership with the reversing noise

 

I've had zero issues or noise with mine
(Front & back)
Replaced the front set @ 50k & 100k
I do new rotors always, no turning for me

Sometimes I hear a light squeek if I have not driven my tundra for a few days & moisture sets up on the rotors, dried out to light rust & the noise I hear is the rust being scrapped off

I went with the power stop Z36 pads, with Napa rotors. Have over 10k miles on them so far, no problems, squeaks, vibration, etc. wrote a little write up on the whole job.
