Will do - the two cans of raptor and the one can of grip #4 just arrived today. Now just need the rain to let up. Do you really think I need a respirator? Painters mask help? I will be doing this outside in my driveway. Thanks!

Also, I thought about spraying the top few inches of my tailgate (long story but it has a small dent and the stock plastic cap doesnt fit right), but now i think I just want to find an aftermkt cap that will fit and come down far enough to cover the dent (too expensive for body shop to fix and a bedcap would cover it). Anyone have any bedcap resources? I know - probably wrong thread...

I did mine outside. Both smells are strong. I used a respirator because I had one. But you can do it without any protection, but why inhale chemicals when you can avoid it? I use that respirator for all my painting ventures now a days.

My flares are kind of this slick yet slightly bumpy plastic material with the silver rivets that seem to do nothing as the flare is bolted from underneath... can this slick-ish plastic be sanded or should I just start w the Upol #4?

I did my bushwhackers which are completely smooth plastic with stainless bolts and all I did was do a lite sanding with 80 grit and wiped it off then sprayed the grip 4 and then raptor lined it. Just sanded it to give everything a little more to grab to.

How does it hold up to the sun? Is there any fading from UV exposure?
