Go to chain stores and bid with them. I got my last set of duratracs for damn near 180 a piece after playing "this shop said this much" with em.

They are bad ass man. I had at2's before and trail grapplers, they just don't do as well in the snow and on sandy rocky stuff which is a lot of our wheeling out here.

Edit: Last year I pulled a bogged out 350 from a snow bank. Was like clockwork.

I'd recommend them over anything else. Seriously good shit for the price.

No highway blare like the at2 - probably the quietest offroad tire i've had.

    Hey! Calm your tits!

You can hear them, but they are pretty quiet when new. They do get louder as they wear down though. Ran a set out on my Tacoma, and bought another set last fall. Now have a set on the Tundy. I like 'em, not the best highway tire or treadwear champs, but traction in snow and mud, yeah baby!

hahaha I did the same thing. From Taco to Tundy, the traks were the way to go. Did you have your rotated regularly. I noticed uneven wear causes em to be a bit louder (riding more on the walls? maybe?). Mine have been pretty dang quiet in comparison to other AT's

This thread is hilarious. Good times on here.

Funny, I hardly ever argue with my significant other. She gave me these two pains in my ass...

As a bonus, she doesn't mess with my Jeep issues.

Regular rotates, even wear. The increase in noise wasn't bad enough to deter me from buying again. And it wasn't the annoying rythmic howl that some tires have. For how aggressive they are, Tracs are VERY quiet.

UPDATE: No video-as I didn't want the potential murder to be on film. Wife was cleaning up the kitchen and she was going on and on and she said "empty the dishwasher" I said, "CALM YOUR TITS!" She then burst out laughing! After what seems like 10 minutes she said "empty the dishwasher..." about what I expected and way better then a front spank!

......I just agree with everything my wife says, that way there's very little argument about anything, then I pretty much go about doing everything my way anyhow because I know it'll work (and so does she), except for when it comes to her zany brained sisters I never give her a moments of silence when she brings up issues involving that bunch.

Ok first, what is wrong with people...dammn that video was crazy! OOOh @14tundra, if someone told me "CALM YOUR TITS" I couldn't help but laugh, so I'm glad she laughed at it. Where do you want to be buried? Just so we know, since you are going to try this out again!
