    Ranchers would have them imported to their High Fence Ranches,they have 12 foot high fences so the deer cant escape and then charge the Big Bucks to hunt them.
    Of course they inevitably do escape and breed making it pretty easy to get one most anywhere in the Texas Hill Country.
