Actually the trip wasn't too expensive .We did 7 days- 2 days travel, 3 nights in Rome , 2 in Venice and air and train fare for 2200, total .Expedia for rhe win . Because of this trip I was able to get a supercharger. And honestly.. taking ur wife to italy will cause her to really like you, and hold onto you tight.

Holy shit!! Well, apparently the correct planning would help!! LOL!!!
When she “built” the last trip it was $7K for two of us to Italy!
We’re up in WA, so maybe the flight has something to do with it. Her Hawaii trip she booked this January was pretty damn affordable (I think $6K total for flight, and rooms for our entire family of 4!)
I’m not into vacations at all - I grew up hunting and fishing for vacation. My most exciting trips of my life were rolling trucks on their sides while 4wheeling (since then I’ve been to Mexico, Hawaii a few times, Alaska, etc). I enjoy the backwoods of the PNW (our backyard).
Not sure exactly where my kids will land in that regard LOL.

I've gone through it with my wife for a long time. My answers are always the same. I pay all the bills without complaint, if I start asking for help to make ends meet you can worry. On top, my cars are paid off and a little parts here and there beats the hell out of a monthly payment.

I wouldn't call it mad but you know that thing where they just have to question, she even does it when the parts are for her car and I'm paying for them and doing the labor.

    She
    Exactly!!! Lmfao!

My wife’s Pathfinder needed shocks recently - and I was like, “you know what - I’m going to teach her a lesson”.

Babe - I’m sorry, I’m too busy. Go get a quote for all new shocks. She comes back with a $1,600 quote - shocked. I’m like - oh, yea - this mechanic stuff is expensive. How about you give me $600 and we call it even? We laughed our fucking asses off :D:D
She got my point, really quick
(Which is why she doesn’t entirely question my auto purchases).
She did however understand that “King” was special - only because they put “Offroad racing” in their logo.
    Thanks for that King -

I haven't had a car payment in 7 years. Bought my GTI cash. End of the day my cars do what I need and theres no way that me buying parts and doing labor is anywhere near what others pay in payments.

Side note you have excellent taste in beer bud! Surprised you know of the Pliny up there!

I worry about the same thing all the time.
I’m almost positive if she was a SnipersHide or AR15.Com member I actually would end up in a divorce. Because that’s 20X what truck forums cost me LOL.

Ditto - I’m 6 years no payments - they are the devil.

Yep!! Pliny is the Cats Meow!
    BUT - I bet you haven’t had Ruse ;)
It’s Portland’s response to Pliny, and it’s fucking just as amazing!

Haven't had that one, next time I visit that area I will look for it. I know of 2 liquor stores that carry Pliny once a month, one bottle per customer per visit but I've managed to work around that policy.

I like "Just Outstanding" too even though the name is terrible. Dogfishhead 90 day or 120 day, another horrible name but great taste.

I spend a lot of time in San Diego enjoying their beer but lately been drinking from the brewery next door to me, Enegren.

You see, these are 2.5" wide with extended hardened shafts. The shaft can travel further into the body before it bottoms out. Theres plenty of oil to keep things smooth and cool.

Now let me show you the uniballs

Ruse is the shiiit!!! Portland gets one keg a month of Pliny, and we’ve had Doghead 60/90 constantly but 120 is only occasional. I’m not too much on doghead these days but Pliny The Elder always has a soft spot in my heart :)
You let me know if you ever want to swap some Pliny for Ruse! Over actually never seen Ruse for sale outside of a pub’s tap, but I will search high and low if I can trade Pliny! :)
