I read those tw.com threads last night. What a disaster. From what I read, possibly just a rumor, they had done this once before as well. It's a shame, they certainly made it sound like they tried to right the ship, but then turned around and blamed their costumers for bad reviews which led to them not being able to secure loans or partners. Shitty outcome either way.
Then I read some threads from other vendors offering huge discounts and taking care of guys who had lost money and got screwed. Those other vendors stepped up big time for the 4x4 community and they really didn't have to at all, in reality they were competitors and could have raised their prices but they are doing a great thing.

Yeah, as they grew, they probably went to a bigger shop with greater overhead, hired a few people, had to pay more in utilities... borrowed from Peter to pay Paul...
I doubt that they intentionally did any of this. Just spiraled out of control.

I think I only saw 1 set of sliders that looked like they were for the tundra in the pictures. None of the front bumpers look like the tundra ones. Not sure about the rear bumpers.
Who knows what's in the boxes though.
I don't think they'll have much for tundras there as they had just done their first round group buy for the release of the tundra stuff and they were new products

I've been watching this and have been in contact with the auction house. They seem pretty legit and if I didn't have a big purchase that I'm trying to make I'd be down there doing a preview. I hate to say it, but you could still sell that stuff for cheap and recoup the money and then some depending on where it closes... I bet there's plenty of people from other parts of the Toyota world watching this though.

Some dudes on Tacoma World are probably planning a break-in as we speak. That crowd got pretty hostile they way that all went down.
