That was me. Sorry just noticed your post about the parts for the smaller coil springs in the LT forum, I do not have the part numbers, Downsouth Motorsports supplied the parts. Might be a good idea to get the parts in hand before install. If you can get the axle shaft to clear the bottom spring mount(mine wouldn’t), then the coil spring destroys the inner cv boot on suspension compression. Everything barely clears with the smaller coil springs, but still have to position the inner cv boot in the perfect spot, otherwise it hits the coil spring or LCA. Few other things I’ve learned along the way might be helpful for install, PM if interested.

Thank you for the info! Man that is a tight fit. I actually don't have any free time anytime soon to wrench on the truck so I'll go ahead and give downsouth motorsports a call. Do you think I'll have issues running the CB outer tie rods?

My AL offroad roof rack showed up. Slapped her on and now I need to order new brackets for the roof box cause the thule brackets don't quite fit so the roof box is off for now. Also towed the other car that's been sucking up my time. Dropped that one off for paint. Done mind the squat, I didn't have the proper drop hitch so I loaded the car as far forward as I could to get the ass end of the trailer off the ground. No tundra updates cause I don't know how to weld and I'm waiting for my welder free up his schedule. If that doesn't work out then it looks like I'll be sending the tundra to a shop to get it done.

I just read this entire thread and it brought a big smile to my face. Reminded me of all the goodies I would get when i was building my Tacoma. Cant wait to see it done.

Took the Sequoia up to Oregon last week and had a blast up there. We where in Depoe Bay but I was up and down from Newport City, Pacific City and Lincoln City the majority of my stay.

Love the vehicles, and your Sequoia is making me want to get one of those for my wife, too.

Subscribed to see what you do with the Tundra...

Thanks. I say your wife would probably love the sequoia like my wife does. Hopefully updates on the tundra soon. I'm eager to get her done but my wallet isn't lol.

No updates on the tundra but I have a side project that's almost complete. I found myself needing a trailer more often these days so I snagged one and cleaned her up. I honestly don't know what brand it is but it's an 18 1/2 feet dovetail. Total length from tounge to end measures just about 23 feet. The previous owner had just replaced the bearings and put new tires on.

I sanded the rough areas of the trailer and then hit it with some rust converter paint then I rolled some flat white rustoleum paint over it. I also swapped out the lights for new led lights (Some of them where not working). Just a few more things like a new tounge jack, toolbox and an electric winch and this will wrap up the trailer build.

Wow. Can’t wait to see the end product on the tundra build. Did you get to order 3.0 springs? I’m in the same boat where I still have my tc spec’d coilovers in the box. I’d also want to run rcv axles and cb tie rods but afraid of the clearance issue.

You’re better off with eibach springs.

No picture updates but I booked an appointment with Califab for next month. Going to have them tackle the front end fab work and install my front end stuff then wait till my wallet recovers and have them do the back end.
