It's true that this is a terrible way to dry the baby, but putting the baby in a carrier on top of a running dryer (and staying there to ensure their safety) is an excellent way to get them to sleep if they're fussy.

Trust your gut - there's no one solution for every child out there, listen to your children.
Trust only those that deserve your trust, second opinions are always with the effort.
Enjoy them, they grow up way to quickly and don't wish anything away (I wish she'd walk, I wish she'd talk, I wish......)

Here's the most important one. Letting your baby cry him/herself to sleep. Wait til your baby starts sleeping through the night. I think between 3-6 months is best. Wait til they're a little sleepy and put 'em in the crib and leave the room. If they start crying, just let them cry. They'll eventually go to sleep. But if for some reason they don't stop crying in about 15 minutes, try again the next night. After a couple of days, they'll just go to sleep without crying. Listening to your baby cry and not doing anything is tough but this will save you 30 minutes every single night.

This. Trying to get my little girl to sleep for the first 5 months sucked! Let her cry it out a few nights and she's been happy going to bed since. There are a few nights every now and then that do not go smooth but overall pretty easy.

Another suggestion is create a routine for going to bed. Do things in the same order and at the same time of day. Makes things a lot easier.

This is what to do if a baby is choking. Do not do the Heimlich maneuver on an infant. My daughter choked on a grape when she was 3. I'm pretty sure me knowing this saved her life. Learn this and infant CPR before it happens.

Those seats in the back of a 2002 Tundra are not very big. Definitely not crewmax size.

Yep, my wife is finally due in June after 6 years. Going through it we found out how many of our friends were going through ivf and one of my best friends is now trying to adopt because they weren't able to have kids. We had come to the realization we weren't going to have kids, we decided we were just going to make the best of things. Went to Europe last summer, both bought new cars, etc. And then bang she ends up pregnant.

That's how it happens. You "quit"and the stress goes away and all of a sudden you're having a baby. It's like the worry about not being able to get pregnant causes the body to stress out and not able to conceive. Crazy how that works.

My buddy that is trying to adopt said that's what their doctor told them too. Said that's why so many high school kids get pregnant so easily, they think they are invisible and aren't stressing about it and bam.

Thats awesome man!! Congrats! I have mad respect for people who go through this process especially several times. This is probably one of the most emotional and physically stressful things that my wife and I had to go through not to mention put our marriage to the test!! After it didn't work the first time we had to go blow off steam in Vegas because it was a lot to handle. I am happy for you guys!
