    how has the paint held up after all these years? did you sand the chrome completely off or just scuffed it to hold the paint?

    Great question. I do think the factory paint holds up better. I have some chips on the side view mirrors and one on the drivers handle (ring?). For the money, I would absolutely do again. It is extremely easy to do and makes it pop. I may touch up here soon since I have another car I can drive to take my time sanding. If anyone knows a better clear or paint that would hold up to rocks, I am all ears. Otherwise I may just clear bra the mirrors.

    I just finished sanding the hood bulge. My painter recommended 80 grit. The door handles are next.
