I went to install my Tekonsha P3 today, with no success. It is the SR5 with tow package. Full hitch assembly, but the tow/haul button is on the steering wheel sticks as shown in pics. I found the plug on the left kick panel, but after separating the two, my adapter plug fits, but the pins don't match up. So, it plugs in but of course doesn't do anything due to the pins not mating. I see some of you with the tow/haul switch above TPMS reset seeming to plug it in back there. I had mine apart and didn't see that plug on my model. I've watched every YouTube video, but all have the dash tow/haul option, PLEASE SEND HELP.

I have a 2012. I didn't have to unplug any connector to plug the P3 in. It wasn't connected to anything. Mine is down by my e-brake pedal. Did you hook up the separate ground?

I have the same model and tow/haul button. My cable was located right below the traction control button (in same trim mold area.) It was a white connection that fell right out once I took off the panel.

Not sure man, I'd almost say take it to the dealer and ask them? Maybe your harness is wrong that came with the p3? It should of came with the manual wiring harness as well that you can splice it into, but that's obviously worst case scenario.
