Luckily I have other vehicles I can drive, so the Tundra can stay safe and salt free in the garage since gas is near $3.30 per gallon here and continues to creep up. So I have my trusty '04 Pontiac Vibe I drive more now since the almighty 1.8 liter will get over 20 mpg around town.....it's the best Pontiac that Toyota ever made! (Same as Matrix platform)

I'll still keep the Tundra however....it isn't going anywhere.

The only "Plus" about high gas prices is, All the folks that recently own a Truck will get back in their Mini Vans and other stupid vehicles they drove before.

Hell no, I will keep what I have. 4 V8's, 1 7.3 liter Diesel, 1 4 banger Tacoma and CVO Harley Road Glide.

I buy 93octane for the SC and @ $4+/gallon, i thankfully get 17-19mpg. I drive my Tundra for any job that requires significant tools and is a commute under 45min. (Jobsite location changes). If the commute sucks, or has a high jobsite damage to truck ratio, then I drive my 4cyl 5spd Taco. I only fill my Tundra 2-3x/month, and it seems like I only put gas in the Taco when the season's change, so I never really thought about it.

I'm about to change jobs and may end up having a 100 mile round trip a day. If that happens, I will ride my motorcycle most days, but in bad weather take the truck. May also be an opportunity to pick up a fun beater.

I will probably keep my truck and lease a cheap sh*t box car. I feel like my 2019 is one of the last of the Mohicans Lol. Good old regular V8, the exhaust rumble, simplicity and reliability.

    No switching vehicles for me.
    It gets billed out.
Scheduling a job for March. Fuel cost of $254.54/wk on the Tundra. Probably higher come then.
Is what it is these days.

I like the Jetson, but last I saw they are starting about 50 grand more than that article or whatever is claiming.

None. I put 65k on my truck last year and I live in SoCal! My mileage for work was $16k I spent. But I won’t change. Unless they give me a work truck for my promotion

my truck will be used for towing a travel trailer once i get the truck itself paid off, so there's no way i'd get rid of it....but luckily my daily work commute consists of walking from my bedroom to the living room and/or my office room, so i get GREAT gas mileage, LOL

Good info for comparison. You should keep this going every so often, as I am pretty sure the gas price hikes aren't over.

I commute 10 miles daily back and forth with the Tundra. If I have to make a long drive somewhere (like the casino) I’ll take my Venza. Lucky to have the option.

The gas analysts are saying $2.00 liter for the Canadian summer driving season (Ontario).

Yes. I have a vested interest as I Log all my Tundra miles Spring - Fall.

    All going up in 2022.

Taxes - to deal with govt pandemic debt.
Interest Rates - to deal with inflation
Gas Prices - Demand vs Supply with Pandemic hopefully in remission. Without even getting into the current Geo Political situation. 8^0

I have no plans on selling my Pro. I drive it once and a while to work. I drive about 50 miles round trip. I am selling my work car and my new 22 Camry XSE is coming soon this month. I will be driving that to work a lot.

Duno what price would make me change I've used in times of near $5 a gallon. I'd rather be in something comfortable and easy to drive like a truck then sit on the ground and have another vehicle total mine on the way to work. Plus its really weird driving a large Truck all day just to get info something so small and realize just how bad car mirrors are vs Truck mirrors. car mirror maybe see 35ft back on the 45° angle. Truck mirror see everything from drivers door handle out across 4 lanes from 10ft and then as far back as a mile.

Just paid $4 a gallon here in Az. Took about $70. I may consider getting myself a commuter. I’m doing close to 20k miles a year and I have to pay for all of my own fuel. No company card for me. I drive alone 99% of the time and rarely haul anything. As much I love my tundra, I may have to start looking hard at other options. That or keep the truck and buy a car

The first is Bridgeport off 395 in the middle of nowhere. They can charge whatever they want and cars are always there! Second was more down by you in Death Valley. But I did see over $5 for regular for the first time today locally…

Pulled the Mini out of the garage tonight. $3.29/gallon is enough to make me drive it. ‘97 Neon is behind the house, that’s the next gas saver.

3.69 a gallon here. Its been up near 4.00 a gallon here before. My tundra is paid off so it would have to get real real bad. Even then though id prob just buy a econo box beater to commute, i wouldnt sell it.
