I stalk forums (sometimes for years) before I decide it's worth my time to follow them, become a member of the community, and contribute. I probably frequent a dozen forums for instructions, specs, and reviews. But I am only active in 2 forums, Tundras.com and KLR650.net. I don't even own a KLR anymore, but it's a good group of guys that have experience with a lot of dual sport problems and a lot of different bikes, the alternative adventure and dual-sport forums are painful to read because of the assholes.

It is aggravating to search for something in other forums only to come across pissing contests, verbal diarrhea, hostility, and generally unhelpful people. Playful jabs and joking are what make a community fun, but when it goes too far and turns into straight up douchebaggery is when it takes good staff and mods to do the right thing. The other Tundra forums seem to be filled with a lot of people that know just enough to be dangerous, bad advice is given regularly.

I've been here for less than a year, have been a Tundra owner for just as long, but I'm a long time Toyota guy. I'm grateful for this site

    New here. Also from Colorado.

I lurked here, TT, and the Tacoma forums trying to decide whether to buy a Tacoma or Tundra in 2012. I'm back in the market and decided to join here and TT yesterday because I can't decide what to do. I tried to start a thread yesterday on TT and I think it got rejected by the mods.

Yeah I was on a Jeep forum as Google sent me there for a tire research and it was unreadable. This one is so much more user friendly.

    Welcome from Colorado Springs.

I wouldn’t doubt that one bit. Don’t worry, we be low key here.

I'm in Boulder but used to live in the Springs about 15 years ago.

I didn't know which Tundra forum to join so I started with TT because it looked like someone from Magnuson posts there. Then my thread disappeared into the ether.

I'll occasionally share a photo on expedition portal but Tundras.com is the only one I spend personal time on. I'm on a bunch of other sites for work, this site and Tacomaworld.com are by far the best.

Hey, this guy didn’t make an introduction post, and we don’t know what color his Tundra is. Get the pitchforks.

I totally agree, especially your comment on the photos. Very convenient to upload photos directly and its fast.

Bottom-line, this is a great forum.
