I just installed a Baxter Performance oil filter adapter. AWESOME! I talked too Mr. Baxter personally on the phone. He is a extremely educated and pleasant man. A true American. And his billet aluminum adapter is top shelf! Get rid of the factory oil filter can and internal filter element. And use a conventional spin on filter. I installed his adapter and a Mobil 1 204 filter. And gained a quart of oil capacity. Eight quarts, 2 gallon of full synthetic 0w-20! Check him out ************** Top shelf wonderfully made American product by a true American!

I guess the links are being edited by the mods so I won't repeat.

I think it would be nice to have a spin on filter but the price is a bit steep at 2 Benjamin's

I do remember seeing this when I first came on here. Someone had posted about it and there was a link that worked, about putting a traditional spin on oil filter it was an adapter

If a spin on filter is so much better why would Toyota use a cartridge? And is the cartridge the OEM that goes for zillion Miles? Hmmm

Environmental reasons. Paper cartridge oil filters are more easily recycled than spin-on can filters. They are just messier to deal with during filter changes.

You guys suck. I’m over here trying to eat my raw almonds and Craisins.

My wife is half Japanese. She can cook all that stuff. We make spam musubi, corn beef hash, Kalua pork, homemade sushi rolls. You name it if it’s Hawaiian or Japanese we eat it.

Now I’ve got to deal with her trying to feed me healthy, after she spoiled me for 10 years. She’s like dinners ready, here’s a fuckin salad.

I may have to go cheat today. She’ll wonder why I’m not hungry later.
