Thanks! im pretty pumped. Amp steps are waiting, wheels and tires waiting, headlights and fogs, grille, new painted bumper and tesla screen and full stereo waiting. its gonna be a fun few weeks!

 

Alright! Finally an update! i got my truck out of the paint shop, its currently about 80 percent done. exterior has a few things left i wanna do (new license plates, some additional lighting, painting and cleaning under the truck, etc) should be done by mid next week, then its onto the interior / stereo. heres some pics.

Took it to my shop, got the headlights and fog lights all installed! Tomorrow im going to add the leveling switch since my truck doesnt have it, and then wire the headlights and fog lights to stay on when the high beams are on. i like a lot of light.




Removing Window Tint and Reinstalling lighter 3M Crystalline film, then Amp Steps hopefully tomorrow, finish headlight install, and order up all the LED bulbs for everything. Also, want to get some huskyliners too. Stay tuned!

its super clean. no swirls, all ready. im going to paint correct it and ceramic it in about a month after it off gases or whatever they call it.

 

Great resurrection, looks awesome like your wheel choice and face lift to the front end. Your almost done. Hopefully your done before the holiday weekend. Good luck.

 

Thanks! just dropped it off at the tint shop to remove old dark tint and put on new light tint that blocks out the heat. almost done with exterior lol

 

Alright! Window Film Removed and Re-Tinted and my goodness is it worth it to get the good film. temps went down crazy.

Amp Steps and New Rain X Wipers Got Done Today. Tomorrow im going to get the headlights finished (adding the adjustment wiring and switch), swapping out the cruise control stalk and hopefully the AC blower motor if toyota has it in stock.

Exterior is going to get all lights converted to LED, i have a digital license plate coming, and we're going to move the radar detector / jammer sensors and maybe install some black rigid lights up front.

Interior, is going to be about a month. refinish the seats (or get newer that have a/c built in), full stereo, deep deep clean, and add USB charging ports everywhere. stay in tune!

 

Hey everyone! sorry i havent been updating this much lately. Been busy with life.


First things First, the truck was paint corrected and ceramic coated so its nice and shiny with no swirls.









i cut off the old owners hitch lock and put a B&W hitch on it. Got rid of the old license plates and put a reviver digital license plate in. also sunk the radar laser jammer into the rear bumper to hide it. also installed a bakflip mx4 bed cover, and removed the factory plastic one and all the bed rail system.



I had the front seats fixed where they were worn/torn. Also got myself some huskyliners. heres before and after of the seats!





installed the tesla style radio because my old aftermarket radio died and i wanted tunes and a backup camera. installed Surgey's firmware for it, and and customized it to be toyota themed and even put my truck on display. added netflix and SNES emulator.





Also Swapped Every single bulb in truck to LED. no pics of that at the moment.



That leaves me with:

Installing headlight adjustment switch and harness.

Gutting full stereo and installing all new one. Going Sony GS Everything with a DD Audio Processor out of tesla style Radio.

Add stinger roadkill to all panels to make truck quieter.

paint lower front bumper to match grill (matte black).

Bulletliner bed lining probably.

Take apart random pieces on truck that are rusted, sand blast and paint gloss black. (Brake calipers in front, towing stuff in back etc)

order all missing oem pieces that are broken or not perfect.

swap out clock spring and try to get cruise control working.

Then after the new year if im feeling saucy ill:

Magnuson Supercharger

if i supercharge it, then ill do the TRD big brakes.

 

Crazy, but cool looking. I have more fun fixing trucks up than driving them, so I know your problem well, love the grill...

well, yesterday i got the bedliner done. bulletliner. took out all the bed bolts and hardware so i can remove anything in the future without screwing up the liner. looks great, really happy with how it turned out.




Installed a swing box toolbox for my tie downs and random truck stuff so my truck is ready to truck whenever lol




so now that that is all done, onto the stereo. in comes the sound damping! started rear door outside

Sorry i haven't been posting up lately, i've been so busy with life. Big news though, my SUPERCHARGER IS HERE! so magnuson is gonna be on in the next two weeks, whenever we have time. i cant wait.

and i've been terrible about taking progress pics. i have another car im building right now thats getting my attention. here's what i do have though.

here's the interior all gutted for the roadkill installation:

found some passthru USB ports for my SNES emulator and the other side is a high power charging slot, which is sweet.



to plug in these bad boys!




this is literally the only install picture i have of the amps or box or anything. you can see the two sony 6 channel amps, and the DD audio DSI-2 processor. While the carpet was out i took it and had it deep cleaned. looks brand new.



heres the pic of them loading up our two superchargers, yup, two. my buddy is supercharging his Tundra also.




only other recent picture i have of the Tundra is one i took in the snow. love this silly old ass truck.

Its getting there! hopefully next week we'll be able to get the supercharger on. also, i have to figure out brakes. i dont really have the 5k for the brembos but they sure would be nice. haha.
