Front lifted 2.5 inch using 5100s on stock springs.
Rear lifted 1.25 inch using shackles.
Tires are Yokohama Geolandar M/T size 295/70-18.
Wheels are Method 314, matte black. 18x9 with 18mm offset.

Also, I think it helped the look a lot when I removed that big i-force 5.7 badge from the front doors.

Did your order the black door handles and have them, center valance, and mirror caps painted

They were not available from Toyota when I got them since the color was so new and rare. I custom painted, clearcoated, and then did the PPF wrap over them myself.

Now they are available straight from Toyota...about $650 total when I last looked

What do y’all think are the best color wheels on a smoked mesquite truck? I feel like black wheels disappear with black (obviously) tires and bronze wheels clash with the mesquite brown. Wondering if maybe a dark gray wheel would have just enough color difference to set it off and look right, but not seeing many examples of these. I currently have the brushed silver Platinum wheels which I don’t think look right either. Too big and kinda grandpa looking.

I chose black on mine but have seen bronze look good too.
    Chrome could look good.

As much depends on style of wheel as it does wheel color in my opinion.

Yeah. I think I’ll probably wind up with black but I have definitely noticed that most black wheels blend in with the tires and all you see are big black circles w/o much definition.

Picked up and painted a grill surround and scored some wheels. Now do I run the limited insert or the honeycomb? 3F79BD02-6D03-4D43-B6FC-B5AF2B6CA9A6.jpgB53BF3A2-715C-4E13-B12B-FF50F99B056A.jpg

It’ll be a while until I swap over. I’ve got a ton of life left on my current tires so I’m hunting a decent deal on five 285/75r18

I like how the color changes depending on the light.

Very nice! I almost bought a very nice equipped Tundra in that color a couple years ago. When I see pictures like this, I kick myself a little for passing on it.

To flat black the bumper or leave chrome to match the headlights?

After nearly 4 years and 65k miles I finally wore out the stock Michelins, so the time came to replace tires. Factor in some boy math and suddenly added wheels and lift to the bill.

Personally I love the way bronze Fuels pair with the paint.

Just bought a wrecked 1794 that thankfully was damaged in the chrome area.. So just another example for the photo gallery.. And yeah maybe some slightly more aggressive tread when these wear out. Plastidipped handles and badges. Verdict is still out on how long that lasts but seems legit... Toyota TSS 20" rims.. Go Rhino Steps..PXL_20241028_133242768.jpg

I'm liking the look with the big iForce badge removed from under mirrors or at least blacked out. Cant decide if i also want to remove the "tundra" badge from bottom of door.
I should get a pic of red calipers showing through wheels and the black/gold Dirt King UCAs that are on there now.

Wheels and tires are in post #61 above. 295/70-18.
Calipers are oem that I painted. Replaced calipers due to stuck piston.
New suspension is the new Dirt King 2.0 coilovers, UCA, and rear shocks.
Out of the box the coilovers are a bit higher than my 5100s were so it's at a hair under 3 inches over stock height.
Rear has Camburg shackles giving 1-1/2 lift there.
