Well it rides real good on the highway at speed.. streets around here are horrible so hard to tell about low speed yet. My stock shocks were still in place at 122k miles and were beat so all around it’s tons better.

This looks like the same ride height as mine. For the most part, I kept the stock rake by adding Old Man Emu 2.25" leaf springs, with their lifted rear shocks and Rancho quicklift, adjustable struts to the front. The front might be a tad higher than the rear, vs. stock rake. Not completely flat, which I like, because I don't like the sagging rear end when towing.

What size tire are you running on yours?
Rough country had a Black Friday sale and I went ahead and bought their 3.5” lift kit. It’ll be good for now. I originally wanted a 295/70R18 tire on factory wheels with a 1.25” wheel spacer just to get the tires to fit but I’d rather not use spacers so I might go down a size.

Spacers will make it look better. The stock wheel tucks in a lot, spacer brings the wheel lip even with the fender, tires will poke out a little.

Still running stock 275/65/18, because it came with near-new Michelin LTX A/T2's, and I can't justify taking them off just yet. I plan on going with at least 285's w/new rims when I replace, but can't be of much help right now. I'm sure someone on here is running the same setup as yours. Good luck with it!

Thanks man. So I guess the dude who I bought the truck from bought a 3" body lift and chopped them down to 1", then he used some longer bolts. Can't imagine how long it took him to do it.

Hey I was wondering if anyone has done this:
The Rough Country 3.5 in Toyota bolt on lift kit but instead of using the front preload and strut spacers use the Rough Country Toyota Lifted N3 struts?
Since the lift kit only comes with N3 rear shocks I’d like to put it on new N3’s all the way around and I was also thinking that the ride quality would be better without the front spacers.

    Thanks!

I did the RC N3’s all around. Ride is good. I bought the truck with 113k miles and stock shocks so it was pretty beat so I can’t compare to new but rides good now. I didn’t do spacers just N3 with stock spring in the front N3s with wheelers AAL in the rear.

love them! I've been through 3 sets of aftermarket China headlights with nothing but issues. These are worth the money for OEM reliability. Plus they make the old truck look new and give you factory LEDs/DRL's etc.
