Official Lifted 2nd Gen Tundra Pics w/ Info

Just finished updating my setup.

Fox 2.5 front and rear, and Icon RXT leafs (running option 1 for now). Now for a U-Bolt flip kit, bump stops, 37s, a BMC, and glass fenders.

 

What is the U bolt flip kit for?

 

Just a little extra clearance, and they usually come with upgraded bump stops.

I decided to go with the rough country 6" kit with the N3 shocks and rear struts, Fuel Vapors with a +1 offset, and Toyo Tires Open Country R/T trail 35x12.5R20LT. Truck rides real quiet and smooth, better than it did when I first bought it.

After I had one of my front shock reservoirs leak and rebuilt, I went ahead and bit the bullet and replaced the shocks and coilovers on Kompns8.

Replaced with the same rare (because of the length I guess?) Fox 2.5 coilovers up front and Fox 2.0 in rear. I have orange and black labels coming in for the front reservoirs to match the rear.





Not 100% on the location of the front reservoirs yet but they’re close to what they were before. Does anyone know a part that will mount above the shock mount and hold the reservoir there?

Also replaced the front diff and added a double Cardin front drive shaft after hearing noises I didn’t like at higher speeds in 4WD.

Truck still sitting high and level! Next step would be to sand blast and paint or powder coat the lift kit as it’s seen better days.

Sweet truck! I have a 3" RC leveling kit in the front and nothing in the back, I'm looking at method 703's with a 35mm offset as well, and looking to put some 305/70r17 tires. Do you have any issue with rubbing? Have you cut or modified anything?

 

Here is my 2013 Platinum. Has a 6” Fox BDS lift. Currently running 35x13.5 R20’s Toyo MTR’s and will soon be running the same size tires, but will be the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T’s.

Taken this morning after my walk along the Spokane River.

 

2011 Base 4x4 - Bilstein coil over front with UCA and Bilstein rear with leveling blocks.
Takes me 95% of the places I want to go.

 

Is there an unlifted thread for our 2nd gens? I searched but couldn't find one.

 

Rough Country 3.5" lift with Vertex reservoir shocks.
ARB Summit bumper with Smittybuilt 10,000 lb. winch. 305/55R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.
Gonna have HD OEM leafs from Alcon shortly.

Update!:
Got my Alcon springs in and my bumper plus swingout is on!!!

 

This is my 2012 Tundra it has a 10" Lift (7" Pro Comp K5085B - 3" Body lift) 37x13.50x22
Chassis Unlimited Octane Series front and rear bumpers. This truck is a monster! The adjustable control arms give me factory like steering, no rubbing.
Cons: Would have to be no gas mileage whatsoever! Tires stick out a to far for my taste and I don't really like the look of the big dish of the rims, Think I'll stick with the 37s and go with a skinner rim with less offset very soon.
