Official 2022 3rd Gen Celestial Silver Metallic Thread

Did you get the mustache paint matched? I have the smoked chrome and am on the fence about swapping it out. Doesn't look too bad against silver, but there are lots of colors up front.

 

I actually just wrapped it. It's pretty spot on color match. Couple of angles in the light you might be able to tell if you're really looking. I know this probably won't hold up long term but if or when I do it again I would probably either paint match or go with Bumpershellz. I had the smoked chrome and didn't mind it but I do love not having the mustache.

Does anyone have a silver truck with the forged BBS TRD Pro wheels on it? That's my current plan but haven't seen one so just using my imagination at the moment until I do it.

 

Well , after months of waiting the LB limited is here !! Happy and a little bummed that I won’t get the TRD lift installed ( stop sale ) , which means the wheels and tires I have won’t be installed either . Ffs , even the hood deflectors are on back order . Grrrrr ,, but glad it’s here !!



home for an hour and so it begins lol. TRD air filters installed and a couple little accents for now .




Few more changes but still no lift.

 

I hosted an off road meet and greet today and a young guy came and took some cool photos then he sent me as a collage. Kinda cool!

Silver was not my first choice but after owning all black Tundras I can honestly say it’s my new favorite. Easy to take care of and always looks nice. My black trucks would scratch if I looked at them wrong.

These are take offs so they are the Falken Wildpeak AT3W

 

Anyone replace the lower grill surround on a limited with the matte silver one. Debating about doing this vs color matching everything. It’s triggering my OCD with all the colors Toyota used on the limiteds: Chrome window trim & Handles, Matte Silver Mustache, Charcoal Flares, Different Charcoal Grill, Gloss Black Lower Trim, Color Matched Bumper Ends, Black Front Bumper & Chrome Rear. Just no apparent rhyme or reason.

Just picked up a 1794 and am looking to get rid of the external chrome (bought used for a great price). Any advice on where I should start? Best place to get the heritage/pro grill? For the latter, I’m not sure if OEM is a combination of the best quality-for-price combo. Thanks y’all!

 

I need a little advice based on your rigs. I just picked up a 1794 in this color. Looks great, but I want to get rid of the chrome. Where is there matte black vs gloss black? Seems the window trim is universally gloss black, but that doesn't seem to be the case everywhere.

there is no silver. It’s just black with texture that reflects out. There’s no “camo” per se, it’s just patterned black
