Hi @joonbug, after watching the videos and taking with the guy who does my suspension work, I think I need to wait until I have sliders. (I might be able to deal with banging up the truck but I don't think I can deal with my wife's disapproval of me banging up the truck. :D).

It looks like a great trip and I am looking forward to seeing the videos (hopefully validating my decision to wait for sliders).

Discretion IS the better part of valor. If you've got 35s and 3+" of lift you'd probably be ok. But there's nothing like the peace of mind that sliders afford.

Wise decision. Wish I could say you definitely wouldn’t get any damage, but I can’t. Hopefully you get some sliders. They not only help with wheeling but they just look much better. ;)

Let's meet at the usual spot. Chevron in Dublin at 6:45am, Sunday morning. We're leaving by 7am so don't be late.

    Chevron
2760 Dublin Blvd, Dublin, CA 94568

We'll meet the Sac area guys in the same parking lot as last year in Downieville at 10:30am.

200 Main St., Downieville, CA 95936

I'm not even sure if there's a gas station in Downieville, atleast not a Shell or Chevron. So get some gas on the way there. We'll probably stop for gas at Yuba City.

This is/was a single pump gas station in Downieville. I filled up there last year.

Yes I am! What time we meeting? I was wondering, going out to Dublin is kinda out of the way if you are eventually going to get on 80 north. Do you pass by the Suson Valley exit from 80, if so I can meet there?

This is the route we’ll take. Just go across the SM bridge and go to Dublin. It’s only going to be like a 10 min difference.

We haven't been on a run yet when anyone has needed to break into their reserves, but it is always a good idea to have some. Do you have the big tank or little tank?

Yeah, same Chevron in Dublin at 6:45. Address is on one of these posts. You'll be fine with the 38 tank. I'll run through my tank and both gas cans before you run out. Shit, I hate my 26 gallon tank. Bring your own lunch and drinks. You don't have any steps, right? If you do, take them off. And make sure to bring a spare tire.

You should be fine. Joon will run through his reserves before you have to start worrying about your fuel.

Nah. I think we’ll be ok. There is one single pump station in La Porte after the trail. We can fill up there if we need to. 92F09177-F64A-41D9-A31E-3111A79B5B14.jpg

Thankful for the 38 gal tank. Wife’s sequoia has the 26 and it’s always thirsty.
Looks like it’s 13 miles to the Cleghorn Bar trailhead from La Porte. So after Poker Flat it’ll be adding about 50 miles of travel to get there, run it out and back, and get back to La Porte. Some could fuel up between if needed.
