Actually, they are pretty nice. Hate to say it, but this is an upgrade. Even has auto up windows.

No, she was going 35 mph, not that you can’t use CC at that speed, but it does deactivate with any noticeable wheel slip. She has no idea what happened. Going straight and all of a sudden sideways.

Well damn Chris, that sucks. I can’t imagine being a spectator to all that, but I don’t have to imagine being the pilot in such a crash. Hopefully your wife isn’t experiencing any ill effects now that a bit of time has passed. (kids are rubber, they bounce back LOL). I have to give a lot of credit to my Tacoma after walking away from my wreck at 50 mph, and yours did just as good a job keeping the cab intact, and it’s passengers safe.

That said, my mom has a 2005 Subaru Forester with Nokian winter tires, and that sucker is BORING to drive in winter conditions. And that’s not always a bad thing, if you get what I mean.

Thanks Phil! Good to know on the tires. I’m thinking those are a for sure purchase.

Well just got the call, Tacoma is totaled, and the guy said it was a hell of a hit. He was surprised it was 35mph, and no injuries.
