I’ve gotten 70k plus miles with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers ( 2 sets ) on my gen 2 Tundra. These tires are great in the rain and wear evenly and look great on the truck.
This is what will be going on most gen 3 next month. As it looks like these stock Falken tires will be lucky to get 35k

    Resurrecting this old one.
For anyone wondering and wanting to stick with factory 20's. 285/65/20 fit with no rubbing. Went with the 285/65/20 Toyo AT3 after much debate. Liked the actual size and weight compared to the falken at4.

Also went with the fabtech 1.5" level and some afe tow points.

Would the Toyo's fit without the 1.5" lift? I like the current rake but am looking to swap out my Wildpeaks.

@dccrens I cant say for sure. I feel like I read somewhere that size would not rub without a level, but really dont know.

Maybe someone else who knows will chime in.

Kept my stock wheels and went with Toyo AT3 275/65r20s. No lift or level and no rubbing. Great tires...no regrets!

Also, How do they ride? Are there any concerns with the increased weight per tire? The Toyos are 55lb and the Falkens are 37.9/b.

They ride good. Very little road noise but obviously more then the stock falken. Slightly firmer ride. Currently running 50# of air. Will experiment with tire pressures each week to see what the difference feels like. Next stop is 45#.

Not sure how I stumbled here but appreciate all of these post! I want to get me some new tires but hard to part with OEM when they still have meat. This specific thread helps with wheel size and pictures. Kept it simple!

Glad I found this post as I have been looking at 20” tires also. I have a 1794 limited addition. It basically has the Fox TRD pro suspensions and I can’t decide what tire would look the best. I’m currently debating between the 275 60 20, 285 65 20 and the 295 60 20. I won’t be doing any off roading to speak of but do won’t a nice look with out sacrificing gas mileage and the comfortable ride. Would love to hear any feed back. Thanks

This is a very helpful post. Probably going to go with this same set up.

Your truck looks wonderful. My 25 is going in for 285/65/20s and OC at3s tomorrow, along with a RC spacer lift until the factory lift debacle gets resolved.

Very clean looking truck, well done !

I went with 285/60r20 BFG KO3 tires on a completely stock 2025 Limited. Love everything about this setup including looks and ride quality. Sometimes you can have it all.

What was your main reason to go with 285/60/R20 instead of 285/65/R20 as you originally wanted?

285/65/20s open country at3s with a 1.75 spacer lift in the front. On stock TRD rims. Very pleased !

I never wanted 285/65r20. I think you have me confused with another post. Love the 285/60r20 KO3 tires.

Same wheels but I went with 35x12.5 AT4Ws. No lift or level, just removed the brackets in the front wheel wells and pinned the liners back.

Only have a couple hundred miles on them so far, but very happy. Ride quality is excellent and they handle rain extremely well. No experience in snow, yet. Only downside is the, as expected, drop in fuel economy. Fair trade off for a 10 ply tire.

is your truck white or silver? I went to look for more pictures and noticed a silver truck. Is this the same rig? Can you post more pictures for us?

Happy to help. My truck is ice cap white. I brought home a silver 2024 on 35s to test the garage fit. I’m sure this is what you are referring too. Photo dump below.

As for the MPG drop I’d say 1 to 1.5 MPG but keep in mind the truck has ~500 miles on it and all of my driving so far has been in town.
