I’m thinking the same thing. I picked a can of MAF sensor cleaner and throttle body cleaner tonight.

If it does it again after you clean the maf sensor, then I would replace it.I know this may sound strange but fill the tank with gas and then pour an entire quart of dexron 2 or 3 transmission fluid in the tank.it will clean the injectors better then anything and the entire fuel system.I would also run a can of seafoam through the intake and valves.take the brake booster vacuum line loose while the engine is running and slowly pour in 3/4 of a can into the hose.pour slowly because the engine will try to stall.after it is poured in,turn off the engine and let it sit for 10 minutes.be sure it is sitting level and in a well ventilated area because when you start the engine,it will smoke awful.that is ok.it It is burning off the build up.I promise it will run smoother and much better.I do this in all my vehicles.

When you do the drums stay away from the centric kit from RA. I had a shoe crack on me before install, and it was missing parts.

I ran a can of seafoam through the tank and the next one will be through the intake. I’ve done it on other vehicles and yes, it smokes like crazy lol.

Thanks for the advice. I plan on doing both drums, shoes and wheel cylinders so I know it’s all new.

I did get a quote from a guy that will bed line the whole under body for $400. Something I may look into.
