    Yeah ... nah. Yellow tail is an OK brand, but here in Oz it's not all that highly regarded. But I'm not going to get into a pi**ing contest about the quality of wines because, I'm just a plonker. That said, I still like a nice plonk.

    it isn't highly regarded because of who owns the brand. my day job has me in their facilities on and off. they treat like the bottom of the barrel. kind of like coors with keystone.

    Funny story:
    My wife worked for a very lucrative fashion jewellery importer here, for 20 odd years. She was the general manager, and shortly after she started working for them, I wrote some software that saved them about $20K/year. So her boss said we should take ourselves out to dinner on his dime. He told us a name of a restaurant, which turned out to be the most expensive restaurant in Brissy. When it came time to pick a wine, we looked at the menu and saw a $2,500 bottle and for 1.5 microseconds we thought "Do we dare?".:hungry:

    Spent two weeks in Perth in 1981 TDY with two other Sgts. Wow!! The local folks were sure nice. Liked Marines...Just sayin...2 months would have been better. Lots to see and do. Not enough time.
