    G'Day
I come from the land down under ...
We don't yet own a Tundra, but are looking for a truck to tow the travel trailer we will be buying. I've been researching pickup trucks and I'm a bit put off by the number of problems the Ford and GM trucks seem to have, particularly with their engines.
Here in Oz, we have a Hilux ute (you call 'em pickups) which has 238,000klm (147,000 miles) on the clock and is rattle-free and as strong and tight as the day it rolled off the factory.
Soo... we decided to consider a Tundra as our TV as we've had really good service from 3 Toyotas so far.
Anyway, if you're interested in having a bit of a look around Outback Australia, check out our You Tube channel from the link below.
Maybe on our travels around the US, we might get to catch up with some of you.

Welcome to the site. Lots of great information on here that will direct you to your next vehicle purchase.

Personally, as of 2018 and the current offerings, I would only buy a Tundra in the 1/2 ton market.

Thanks all for your warm welcomes. Yes, we live in Brisbane in the state of Queensland, home of the Great Barrier Reef and The Gold Coast.
We own a Light Sport Aircraft which we use to explore Outback Oz in. The middle of Australia is largely uninhabited and (IMO) the best way to see the country is by air.
I am originally from the US (FL) but have lived here in Oz most of my life. I have seen more of Australia than I have seen of my native land; a situation we plan to rectify with our travel trailer and (hopefully) Tundra truck. We will be spending about 3 months each year travelling around the US, so I hope we will run across some of you from time to time.
For those in CO, that state is defintely on our todo list. My nephew worked in FoCo for a couple of years and we want to explore CO much more.
    Can't wait to get started...
EDIT: PS, we did a trip last year where we rented a class C RV and travelled from Atlanta, up to Wisconsin for the Oshkosh airshow. Along the way, we went through Elkhart IN, the home of RVs and picked out the trailer we want. We stopped along the way at the USAF national museum in Dayton OH (I'm ex USAF avionics spec) Also, we crossed Lake Michigan on the SS Badger. There is a video of our trip on our You Tube channel.

Yes, they really do. So do the sinks and bath tubs.
A lot of people think this is an urban myth, but when we first came to Oz by ship, we tested this. We checked as we traveled from the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere. A couple of days either side of the Equator, the water would go down the sink in a random manner, but beyond that, there was a definite difference between the north and the south.
    EDIT:
Also, for those who live in IN and OH, WI and GA, we will definitely be returning there. We will be picking up our trailer from IN, re-visiting the Air Force museum in OH, and back to Oshkosh in WI. GA has a special place for me as I lived in Stone Mountain for a couple of years.

Forgot to say that we will be visiting Texas too. We're thinking of truck shopping from Dallas and I have a friend that lives in TX.
Not all of these places I've mentioned will get visited this year, but definitely TX, OH and IN, possibly Atlanta if we can't find the right truck out of Dallas.

I've got an old fart coworker, like me, who spent some time at "that base" sort of "near" Woomera back in the late 70s. Was AF radar comm tech. Apparently consumed quite a few brewskies while stationed there...
