The bumper will not come with plate covers, Scorpion does not offer them at this time.

    Installed.
Satisfied with the product, well made.
Winch is a Warn VR EVO 10S
Baja Designs 20” S8 Lightbar and squadrons.

((((Slight modification needed to fit the Warn VR EVO)))

My truck didn’t come with an air dam.
The bumper does come with hardware and instructions on how to relocate the air dam.

Thanks for replying, did you have to relocate the control pack (upper control part) of the Winch?

No I did not, but it could easily be done if needed. Theres plenty of threaded holes and bolts near the control pack.

Do all aftermarket steel bumpers require cutting and trimming of the factory plastics?

Yes, I am not aware of any bumper that can be installed without cutting or modifying.

I just ordered the Scorpion from Bumper Superstore, will be pairing with a Warn Evo 10K with synth line. I don't plan on any crazy wheeling in this truck but I have encountered some sticky, soupy mud in the forest roads around here so it's more of a back-up plan than a tool I'll be using regularly.

I'm also hoping I don't have to upgrade my springs by keeping the weight down, fingers crossed. The truck rides AMAZING in stock form and I'm not in a hurry to update the suspension. What's been other's experience after installing the Scorpion and the weight of the winch up front?

    @AND any feedback?

Warn is offering a $100 rebate through September.

Prices seem to fluctuate a lot - I just kept watching the prices on Google until I struck.

The front will go down about 1inch after bumper and winch.

interesting!! less clearance defeats the purpose of replacing the pumper, did you have to swap suspension?

Yes I have Dobinsons suspension but I was planning on getting it.
I currently have Dobinsons 2" 110-220Lb in the front and 2" 0-110Lb + rear swaybar links + Panhard/Trackbar in the rear.
The suspension is definitely stiffer but I hate the marshmallow feeling of the stock suspension.

EDIT..... I did run the bumper and winch without new suspension for a while with no problems.

Installing the bumper seems like opening a can of worms :)
Thanks for the info, is the suspension job complicated or it can be performed at my own garage? did you have to add additional steps i.e computer reset, alignment and adding more parts??

sorry to ask too many questions, I would like to know what am I up against with this installation

Im happy to answer all your questions.
I wouldnt install a bumper just for the looks, id do it only if youre planning on getting a winch, because youll be adding 160ish Lbs to the stock suspension which was not designed for that so the spring rate will have to eventually be addressed.
I did the suspension and bumper/winch in my garage and no i didnt have to reset any computers or anything, i did remove the battery positive but just out of habit.

I researched this topic, looks like the suspension and coil spring needs to be replaced eventually as you said, it's very expensive, I went the rabbit hole to get all the details and the shock job is shocking, after installing the bumper.
