It still blows my mind that Toyota puts such wimpy ass tires on the PRO's. $55K and you can't even give them all terrains?

Typical Californians, that's why they over pay on their homes and everything else. LOL

Typical non Californians, forgetting California is the WORLDS 5th largest economy...with no other "state" even in the top 10.
"overpay" is relative. while a house in San Diego will cost 3 times what it does in Waukesha Wisconsin, I guarantee the same job will pay 3 times more and there will be 3 times more of them available.

Interesting I have found many dealerships now with more Pro's on the lot then I have ever seen. When I purchased mine they were extremely hard to come by. Pro's are popping up everywhere to the point of getting a deal, well somewhat of a deal, but still a deal. When I was looking if you asked for a deal they would laugh in your face. Great time to buy a Pro I think? Wonder when the hybrid comes out if they will continue the Pro? Well who really wants a hybrid Pro.

Have you seen how much debt the federal government is in? We're currently running the 2nd highest deficit in history.

I have noticed the same thing. When I bought my truck you never saw them on lots. Now every dealership I drive past has one out front. I see the Tacoma’s and 4Runners even more. It took me forever to find mine and I ended up having to walk out on two different dealerships before I could find mine for under msrp. I had to order it and wait over a month.

Well at least you got one at a great price. I paid MSRP but no markup like some folks did. Not a rare find anymore.

Bought mine 3 weeks ago in Kelso, Wa. They didnt budge on the price. They offer a $500 military discount but told me the TRD Pro didn't qualify for that discount because "they" weren't making that many of them. Kind of a lame excuse to me.

Looks like msrp is $49,895 so that sounds like a decent deal for a pro. I would still try to talk them down a little though. Or have them include some extras. Definitely negotiate for linex if the truck doesn’t already have the spray in bed liner.

I'd work them on that price, the 1st dealer that I took my daughter to came down to $48500 on that same msrp your looking at,the place she ended up buying from came down to $46000 on a truck that had the bed liner and running boards on,I think msrp on that one was $525?? If I remember correctly, they even tinted the front windows and we split the cost to have heated seats installed so the truck was actually $46300 at signing.

I agree with Scvette. I bought my 17 for 46k when they were a lot more rare. I feel like you can do better and don’t settle for anything over MSRP.

49.9k, not too bad but I think they can do and have done better.

They quoted $48,500 actually. Sticker price is $51,240. I also qualify for recent college grad and owner loyalty rebate too.

Well singed the paperwork on Saturday. They ended up finding a vudoo blue for me. $47519.00 was the final price with free window tint. Got the 6 year tire, paint and windshield protection for $150. The dealerships took the side steps and tonneau off my lemon buyback 2018 platinum.

Late to this thread, but what’s with all the people questioning how a 22 year old can afford this truck? Just because you couldn’t at 22 doesn’t mean somebody else can’t. I couldn’t afford shit at 22, but my first thought was “hell yeah, she’s got her act together”.
It’s even better at her age because she likely doesn’t have the financial commitments that most of us do later in life.

@Auburn24 congrats on your daughter having things worked out so early. Everyone else quit generalizing and projecting.

Absolutely. Good job being that responsible yourself. I get pretty annoyed when people pre-judge young people, or anyone else for that matter. I have daughters your age. They’re awesome, and all of their friends are also.
