JBA are pretty cheap as is, consider the time it takes to weld them up.

Pacesetter? :notsure: I see them on Summit under $300

That happened to me back in '03, I installed JBA shorties because they were a direct bolt on solution. They are still running strong with over 140,000 miles on them.

    Are there any cons?
I thought I remember someone saying there was a problem if you get headers. Something about it made a sensor hard to get to or could not be replaced. But not sure that was it.
I also have the ticking and will replace mine one of these days. But I like to keep things stock and simple to work on. So oem as much as possible. Rare, but sometimes I know you can actually get something better than OEM and even better when it is cheaper.

    Thanks for any suggestions

@RR60 yes, JBA shorties put the passenger side O2 sensor in a stupid spot. It doesn't leave room to remove the sensor, if my sensor goes bad I'll have to pull the header to replace it. Luckily the passenger side is the easy one.

Thanks. And I know I am asking for a guess.
But o2 sensor. How much do they charge if I get a new one at the sametime. And are they a once in 110K thing or less.

Nope, driver side is fine. The passenger side O2 almost butts against the pan, not much clearance to back it out.

Do you think its a problem to move the bung just a bit? cap the inaccesible bung with a bolt and weld in a new one in a more convenient spot.
Is clocking important? ive had differing views from friends in auto industry.
ive only heard never mount off bottom bc condensation.

If/when my O2 sensor fails I'll be clocking it more upward. Weld in a new bung and thread a bolt in the old one.

Or I might shell out the $560 for new long tubes :D

How would you go long tube without spending a fortune on the exhaust? Maybe I need to reconsider. DD was going to be $3200...

I bought them on FB Market Place used back in Jan. They have never been used and came with all gaskets and hardware for installation.
https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...t-gen-tundra-today.2558/page-480#post-1574865 (pic of them) They are stainless. Same condition as they are when I got them a few months ago. I understand they aren't shiny new but this is how stainless looks after a short time (worse once it's actually been used)

Idk what you were getting from Keith but that seems like a LOT.

If I did sell the shorties and went long tube, I would get the headers ($550), o2 Simulator ($150?), Dirty Deeds bolt-on race exhaust with no cats/mid-pipes are $899.That's $1600 + shipping. Which, also makes me question selling the shorties because I have brand new cats, bamuffler that I just bought and the JBA shorties so I am done already minus install. The problem is, what I was quoted for install by my usual mechanic was $1000 for labor and that's too much for what will probably be a small improvement.

I thought the same thing. You need to call Keith. His website is not updated. Long tubes plus his exhaust is $3,200. I'm not sure if you saw my other post last week but I just had a long talk with him.

I was always curious about the Gibson headers before I got my JBA’s.

The seller is taking offers. I’d put an offer of $300 and see what happens. Gibson does make quality products.

UPDATE: I was reading some reviews on these headers and they sound like pure shit. Leaks, warped flanges and holes not lining up. I would not waste my money on this poop product.

This is probably not a very “stylish” option, but you could look at these:

    https://www.andysautosport.com/products/manzo_usa__tp-115.html

If I was considering these, I would get some Percy gaskets for the headers and remflex gaskets for the collectors.
