Exactly. If it was a platinum or a 1794 maybe the gap would be closer but I'm not paying what they're asking for a spiffed up SR5.

 

so I still have the Cruiser but have eyeballed a couple platinums that are $8k off. Then I have days like yesterday when I put the dogs "in" the rig with me when it's 20 degrees out and I'm happy to have the cruiser. IDK...it's a first world problem, I realize...

 

It makes sense if you have dogs. I would guess dogs would kinda tear up the rear seat in the platinum. I am trying to convince the wife to get a used LC.

 

I actually prefer to have my dogs in the back of a covered truck (topper) and would be happy to do it all year round if I could do something better to handle extreme temperature fluctuations. Toppers get REALLY hot in the summer and nothing can warm up 0 degrees.
