Just wrong in my book to even have a 4x4 and never off road. That is unless you are in snow country. I know plenty of people do it but why waste the money. Now if you have the money to waste then go ahead and waste it.

The correct answer is to keep the LC, buy a Pro. You'll be in debt for 5 years maybe but you'll not live with the regret of missing out on either option.

    You're welcome.

    LC pros:
    better build quality
    3rd row
    more luxurious
    easier to park

    LC cons:
    no truck bed
not as good at towing (shorter WB)
less space in the first and 2nd row

    Tundra pros:
more space in 1st and 2nd rows
    better for towing
    truck bed
    cheaper
    tougher looking (subjective)

    Tundra cons:
whatever, you get the idea ;)

    pick what's important to you

In classic AR15.Com fashion, you said it.
The winning answer, is both. :D
And my guess is he wouldn’t be in debt at all lol.

Saw this a while back - pretty damn sweet. That’s what I would do with the LC.

LC, much higher build quality and more likely to go longer trouble free, superior 4wd system also if you ever decide to take it off road.

Tough decision. If you really need (or want the optionality of) the utility of a pick up truck, then go ahead and give up the luxury of the LC. At that point, you may want to consider a Platinum. Since you don't off road, it might be a better fit for you. But if you are set about the looks of Tundra Pro, don't get the black. It's almost indistinguishable from any other Tundra. Get a voodoo blue or a white one.

This isn't a hard decision at all. Keep the LC.

My guess is, if you can afford the LC, you can probably afford to keep it and get an older used Tundra to use for when you need a bed or to tow something

I have only ever owned trucks, but if I had the money I would trade my truck in and buy a LC in a heart beat. Those things are truly a piece of art.

well, it's weird that I'm on a Tundra board and you've all kind of told me what I was thinking...to keep the LC. I think that's what I like about Toyota folks...most point people in the right direction. I think I'll start modding the LC and buy a camping rig to pull behind it...just because I don't offroad doesn't mean I can't start. Thanks everyone!

Ha ha don’t get me wrong. I have a PRO and I 100% love my truck. But I’ve got 2 other tundra pros in my neighborhood alone. They just arent that rare anymore. LC with that hefty price tag for a brand new one. I’d keep that LC till the wheels fall off

I have a Pro and my wife has a LX570, unless you need the bed Id stick with the LC.
We use the rear video for our son and the rear AC is awesome for our dog... No factory video in a Pro and the rear AC sucks.

Best bet is to keep the LC and buy the Pro.

    Sooo, what's the verdict?

If you aren't towing, hauling, or offroading, a Land Cruiser is the beast to have. If I didn't need the bed once in awhile to haul equipment for work (HVAC contractor), I would totally have went for the LC as the estimate truck. I am still torn.

To me there really is nothing special about the PRO. A few factory touch ups and a better suspension. Big deal...
    Keep the LC.
