Update on next mod. Item has been shipped but is stuck in LA at the USPS sort facility. I couldn't wait for something to do so I tried some dipping.

Super happy with results. I used one full can for all badges and mirror caps. Also kept the can of PlastiDip in a bowl of very warm water between coats. Made it very easy to keep even coats.
Next on the list is the bumpers and maybe the rims.

Led light bar finally installed. Things you will need:
Fused relay, wire, wire stripers, butt connectors, electrical tape, female crimp connectors, 3 amp in line fuse, 20 amp inline fuse, light bar and switch of your choice.
    d0c8738938694e27a194aa9444f4419d_eb7816f4b7c6ef7455cfa78986d82983a70abab5.jpg
I first mounted the light to make it easier to run the wire to where I was going to mount the relay. I ran the wire between the upper and lower bumper and then zip tied the covered wire to existing wiring harness and followed to battery and fuse panel.

I used colored tape to keep wires identified.

Connected ground and attached female connectors to wire end to connect to relay.

Ran wire into cab via rubber boot with main wiring harness below steering wheel.

I wanted to mount the switch beside the tow/ haul switch so the center console had to be taken apart:
Step 1 Remove the long filler piece and cup holders.
Step 2 Open center console and pull straight up at the front of the console. It does take alittle force but it lifts straight up.

Step 3 Shift vehicle in neutral and remove gear shift knob. Remove small black screw and then lift up and back which removes the silver gear shift console with tow/ haul switch.

Step 4 I used a wire tap to gain 12 volt power from the tow/ haul switch for both light activation and back light illumination of the switch. FYI the power on the tow/ haul switch is the green wire, second from top.

Step 5 Push switch into removed blank space, connect the plug and play adaptor and reassemble the console.

I used a switch from Aironboard.com. It was worth the price. Fit perfectly and the backlight works with the rest of the cabin lights.
    Finished product.

Replacement taillight already installed so bulbs don't pop in the rain. Was given the go ahead to order the bumper.:D
Hopefully it is here in a week according to Amazon.

If your cameras contrast is not adjustable like mine, you can't see shit anyways unless you put your face right up to it. Looking for a decent replacement. I think they changed it after 07 because it sucked so much.

Need some assistance. I have a line on some very nice rims that are 20 x 10. My current tire size is 275/65r20 with factory platinum rims ( 20 x 8) and I understand that i will need a wider tire for the rims. That being said, I am wondering how much do rims drop in price once they are used? Estimated price for new is $1100. They are asking $850. Still waiting for estimated kilometer count on rims as well as all season use or just summers. Any and all comments welcome.
