I'm ribbing you. Just don't stick any supercharger plates on her dog tag if you do change her name.

OK the radium catch can from "goturbo" is now here (out for delivery via FedEx).
I sent my A Pillar over to Carlos Ortiz last week to have it molded into the dual pod holder listed on their site. Going to get a small refund for providing the core. Have not received any progress pics (not expected, but I asked for them so I could share here...if they happen to snap a few in-progress pics). Hoping to have that shipped back by early next week and will install gauges at some point so it's less to do on SC install day.

Will just be waiting on the main reason for all of these other purchases... the supercharger kit.
SCOL should be providing an update today to confirm we are still on track for OCT shipment.

    More to come!!

    10/6 update

SCOL is estimating a 10/13 or 10/16 ship date for the maggie kit.
No word yet on the A Pillar... but patiently (kind of) waiting.

edit: heard from Ortiz. Not shipping today, as they have informed me that there are a few imperfections in the semi-finished product at the moment and they're going to need to prime and sand more. Looks like it should ship next week though (TBD on date and will post pic of final product once in hand).

We have plans scheduled for 10/21 so that weekend is out... so looking like possible 10/28 or 11/4 install.

Re did the wiring for the gauges up the a pillar.
I ended up doing 2x 12v+ on separate 5amp fuses tapped into fuse panel by drivers left knee. Also ran 2x ground and tapped into brace behind kick panel using self tapping screw. Tested and all works as it should when the key is in the ignition.

I should get the dual pod a pillar back at some point this week and will install the gauges and then weld the bung onto the pass side (bank 2) exhaust just prior to the weld on cat 1. Would like to have a baseline of how the engine is running n/a prior to sc install.

Heard from SCOL today. Kit is shipping out 10/17.

Still don’t have the a pillar back from Ortiz but it’s my understanding that they’re working on a paint match. Hopeful for next week

Ok this is where we stand on the colors of the pillar vs handle. I’m kind of inclined to just have it shipped back and I can try to color match. Or just roll with the slight difference.

Probably easier, faster, and better looking to just spray it SEM trim back and paint the other pillars in your truck to match?

Lol yes you did. It’s primed so that’s why. No paint yet. I can’t wait for the color match or just get it back and either deal with the difference or match myself.

I’m indifferent right now. Really depends how long it will take from now. With the kit arriving next week, I’d like to have the pillar and gauges installed so it’s one less thing to take care of.

    10/20 update

Pillar pod arrived yesterday. Installed gauges today and finished wiring. They’re on a dedicated 5amp fuse for each gauge.

Looks decent. Don’t 100% love the viewing angle. I think they could have tilted it down a bit, but it works being able to slightly tilt the gauge itself down to compensate.

SC kit from SCOL shipped earlier this week and it set to deliver tomorrow. Then I’ve gotta send in my ECU file to Hp tuners I believe but will follow those directions once I have everything in hand.

Install date is set for 11/4 right now.

    Thanks!
I’m doing it at my brothers house. He’s a mechanic and has graciously accepted my trade of beer and a guys day for his help.

how is your truck running now? You went with harrop, correct?

    yes.

I had to add fluid for about a month. I guess bubbles and such.

and make sure to not use pipe bands on the fittings....because...well..uh...I learned they tend to loosen.

I had some drippage early on & was an easy fix. My installer used pipe bands on the intercooler pump. grrr...

    Wishing you well.

Confirm which antifreeze Magnusson wants. Harrop wants Dex-cool or similar Ford equivalent that appears to be superceeded. Having 2 coolants on hand is a pain, but I'll follow their recommendations.

I used the ford yellow in my Harrop as per the manual. It disgusts me having a Ford part inside my Toyota but I digress. :rofl:On the bright side if I see a coolant leak I can identify if it’s the engine coolant or intercooler coolant. That said most people just use the Toyota pink and I haven’t seen it cause anyone any problems.

I’m almost certain (will double check obv) that the Maggie requires OE Toyota red. Def makes it easier having the same coolant in the motor and sc.
