It is time for my lift.....tires have finally shit the bed. I have been reading this forum for 3 weeks and it is very overwhelming. I would love to have 35 x 12.50 but still am not sure what it is going to take to get there. Want 20 inch rims but don't have a clue about the offset or back spacing. I have read enough to see anyone asking these ?s get ridiculed for not reading

I also have the Westcott lift kit (Front and back) and installed it about 3 months ago. Have 35's (TA KO2's). NO spacers and NO rub. I have about 5200 miles on the kit now and have used it to pull 4 wheeler and light off roading at hunting property. No issues.

My take on 35's with this kit- You have to make sure the tire sidewall is not too aggressive with this kit if you are going to run 35's on TRD wheels and clear. I have a buddy who just did the same lift on his '21 Pro and tried to fit 295 70 18's (Mickey Thompson Baja Boss At's) on the Westcott front end and rubbed sway bar. It is very dependent on how aggressive sidewall is for clearance on 35's. Just thought I would comment for those considering the kit.

Here are a few pics (that are in line with @Kevfran99 pics) for reference (Hopefully it will help some others out)

I like Westcott thus far and have been putting it through the paces with little to no issues.

    Ham-
I'm putting my Westcott on Friday. I have the Coachbuilder +3 for the back, but your concerns are front end so I'll get some clearance shots with my 35's on it. That is if you can wait to pull the trigger. I just got my truck last Friday and ended up waiting on tires because it came in a week early.

I appreciate the help funny, but unfortunately I do not have the TRD package, so the westcott won't work for me

    Kops,
I will add to your opinion if i may. I have a '21 TRD Pro and put the westcott on the front and a +3 Coachbuilder on the rear. I wrapped the stock wheels with 35" Nitto RG's (had them on my '18 Sierra and loved how soft they were), and if i didn't buy 1/4" spacers i would have had to leave my girl at the shop or run the Michelins that came on it. I guess i would have probably just bought a set of KO2's and waited another day, but then i would have had to find a buyer for a set of RG's and just taken my losses. I have sway bar clearance, oddly about a 1/4", and have posted the 3/16" clearance on the UCA's. I have a tiny rub on the front wheel well at full turn (which should be cleared up this afternoon with a heat gun) and nothing on the rear. Again, without the spacers i would have had to just let the UCA cut the tire down to clearance or would have had to buy a different set and cross my fingers. I will probably order another set of spacers cut to 8mm just to get a little more clearance so i can "feel" a little more confident about the gap. I run 38-40lbs of air too. Just thought i would add to this as i know how indecisive i was about whether to go with 35's, find a set of 305's or do 295's.

Just curious… Does anyone know how much lift with just the Wescott collar provides without the top plate shim?

Hi guys so i just order the westcott front only kit. I'm going to be running CB shackles +2 in the back. You said you installed yourself. Is it the same as process as the 4 runner pro. They only have installation videos on the 4 runner. Nothing on the tundras. Did you run into any issues?. Thx in advance

I measured the plate and it was a shade over 1/2". Being the setup is supposed add 1 1/2" total, i'd imagine that you'd be sitting at a inch with just the collar.

The process is pretty similar. I hadn't watched the video for the 4Runner but it is a pretty easy. All you are really doing is compressing the coil and replace the collar for the front. There is a slight bit of danger with the compressing the coils, but with the right tools it shouldn't be anything you can't overcome. The shackles are simple too. Just pin a jack on the rear and remove and replace. Have a decent pry bar handy. Post some pics from the side so i can get a good look at the +2's. Grab some measurement differences too, if you will. My difference is about 1 1/8" to the rear.

Thanks for the reply, the only reason why i asked, if there was any differences in the installation process is that there's 4 black washer that i have no idea where they go, about quarter size. Ill take measurements and upload pictures when done. Thx

I just got mine in the mail as well. I believe they are bump stop spacers for the front bump stop.

2021 Pro!! Nitto’s Tyger blades, Arc audio!
Well if I can get pass the power loss and gas mileage lol I would love to run 35’s. Westcott lift going on the end of the month. But I also have brand new Ray 10’s SCS wheels. So after the lift is done I may do the same thing I did with my 4runner pro to do a test fit. I’m good friend with the tire owner. I can get him to mount a 35 tire on my SCS wheels and take it home and do fit testing on the front if the truck to see if they will clear. I need to decide with to stay with my 285’s or sell them and move up to the big boys!! At least I won’t have to worry about being close to the UCA’s with the off set. Just the other part that may rub or maybe not.

I’ve been searching through the forums for tire size fitment. Can anyone guide me on what tire fits for 35/12.5/18 stock trd wheels without clearance issues?
I have the trd pro fox suspension with the westcott spacer and +3 coach builder shackles.

From my understanding, only BF Goodrich KO2, and Toyo Open Country works for 35s?
Nitto Ridge are too wide for 35 to clear?
    What other tires works?
Does Falken Wildpeak tires fit or also too aggressive? Thanks hope someone can chime in.
Finishing up my install today and would need to do alignment and placing an order on new set of tires.

@SFTundra - My understanding is those (BFG and Toyo) are really the only 2 that Jeff (Westcott) recommends for clearing 35's. Things could have changed since I installed mine 18 months ago, but I have had little to no issues with 28K miles on same setup with KO2's.

I do get a slight (very slight) rub on right front sway bar at full lock, but it does not bother me and has not shown any signs of wear on tire. I spoke with Westcott and they said the trucks and kits will settle a little- so just a heads up. I think you would rub with Nitto Ridge (35's) without cutting some areas and it might be the same with Falken's but I cant speak to them.

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone run the Falken Wildpeaks in 35x12.5 r18 on their Tundra. Falken only offers them in F load for that size. Way overkill for a Tundra.

This looks sooo good!!! I’m definitely gonna do 35’s on mine. Hopefully I don’t have to put any spacers, if anything it’ll be like half inch. Just to get more room on the UCA.
