    CCWs are not issued by the state . It's the sheriff in the county you reside . Some counties in CA are "will issue", some are "may issue" and some are" no issue. Just sayin

    I used to carry when I had to work in places like South Central in the middle of the night with a plumbing van full of expensive equipment. A.k.a. sewer camera equipment and lots of copper and brass fittings. As the saying goes, I’d rather be judged by 12 than carried by six. I’m glad I never had to use it but there were a few times where I thought it might come to it. Although I think I was followed home one time because my van disappeared one night.
