Certainly makes logical sense to me. I have seen a few engines apart during my days and the 5.7L has some amazing engineering going on to make it all work. It's kind of like modern fighter jet. The pilot is pretty much sitting there at times. Various computers controlling pretty much everything and even when pilot is on "manual" manuevering. Less (or more) retard is good when 4 wheeling. heh heh. (i know, not politically correct)

    A
Metrology Engineer, measurement sciences. Won't quit till they tell me to leave. Or croak. It's too interesting. I get to work with all the new stuff and develope test procedures.I've seen some pretty cool things before most did. Used to calibrate "stuff" for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, aka Skunk Works, in Palmdale after they moved there from Burbank. Did a lot of work at NASA Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards AFB. You hang around Edwards long enough you just might catch a glimpse of some super fast aircraft that don't "exist" yet. Lockheed Martin's F-117 was flown/tested for years before it "existed". I have a now retired Air Force friend who was stationed at Groom Lake Nevada before his last duty at Elmendorf AFB a couple of years ago. His clearance way above mine ever was. Google Groom Lake. You know it by another name. ( no aliens, just secret testing, maybe)

I like that fact that the OME coil covers are preassembled. Great price point too.

I thinking you've got a spring compressor at work. Most of the OME dealers sell them unassembled. I don't recall seeing negative reviews, quite the opposite.

Yeah I'm a Toyota mechanic at a dealer....

May or may not have just ordered some plastic dip so can do my badges... unsure if I want to dip the sr5 or remove them??? I'm worried if I remove them, being an older truck it'll show the shadow of the badge in the paint???

On my old tundra there was a shadow after only being on 6 months. Clay bar and a gooooooood wax job blends it pretty well tho.

This would probably be the best bet if there's a shadow. Some don't always have shadows from what I've seen after removing them months / years later.

Use the 3M stuff for decals that can be found at most auto parts stores. It's holding the letters on my grill very well

    so to you lift Jace

I personally am going a for a softer ride with some weight capacity, difficult task to do I know..... I love that AirBag set-up for the rear that has the bags that wont rip off!!! Big plus in my books
I love the Light Racing stuff for daily driven, just like you do, I think the non uniball setup is the way to go
Shocks are a huge thing bugging me right now for my 07 and I presume the same issue for you in your current decisions

I think im going to swing the extra cash for Icons/Kings/Fox's/Radflos, Im not a huge fan of the OME stuff personally, I've seen quite a few fail north of the border due to premature rusting, granted its the same thing with the coilovers, but atleast I can rebuild em......
