Nice looking truck, erh, trucks. Guess there is no need to ask if they are "mechanically" sound? What's going on the rims ?( I know, tires, heh heh) and what other items in the near future?

The taco is in very good shape for being a 98. The tundra needs a bit of love. Tbelt, waterpump, cam seals are gonna happen sat I think....

Im gonna throw duratracs on the tundra. Loved them on my taco for many reasons mainly snow capabilities... the tundra will see alot of snow driving so it makes sense. Still unsure about size....

And lift will have to happen after engine repairs are completed and before wheels and tires. Jumped on the wheels as there are only 19 left in the country.

I liked my DuraTracs and price wise you get your money's worth. The topper is a nice touch. Decent looking truck for sure.

What's the starting mileage on it? What lift are you going with? If you can swing it, Toytec BOSS is legit. U can drive mine for a drive if u wanna feel the shocks.

yeah ive had two sets on my taco, love them. And the topper is going. Its on cl right now. I want/need my bed and i want to roll the back window down!

102k on the clock. Not bad at all for an 05. Not sure what lift yet, still up in the air. I boss on the taco Sean, i know its nice. Not sure i need the adjustability and performance though on the tundy. Leaning towards ome up front with lr ucas....

Much better than stock. Its silent till you get on it when it does it comes to life. Engine pulls much smoother up to 4500 rpm.

Magna or borla is just more up to you.

I went with borla do to there design and proven track record with borla performance.

If you use to the magnaflow sound, the way it sounds, honestly you probably will be disappointed that it doesnt have a loud sound.

Borla is about performance. not who is loudest and obnoxious with loud sound on the street.

Mine is broke in now been on about 3 years I believe and it starts to come up as soon as I get above 2500 rpm. I dont have a heavy foot..

Alot depends on your driving style how a exhaust will sound. Why I said magna or borla its up to you. You hear different than me and vise versa. What I made say sounds like crap is music to your ears.

Ask yourself this.... do some research play on youtube and there is a thread on this site also ( search for it for exhaust sounds) start there.

Borla would be my choice presently, as has been in the past. The one on my Tacoma was put on when the truck was less than a year old. It's a '97 and the kid that has it now is still enjoying it.

As we know, Borla is the creator of the TRD exhaust..that should say something.

Borla is one of the few, but one of the biggest oem aftermarket systems out there not just trd for many others including german sports cars and some exotic cars have borla on them. . Most come factory with borla system as standard.

I swapped a Borla with my OEM muffler and retained stock single pipes. Turned out fairly decent.

I thought about doing that, but went with BAMufflers. Should be here first of the month or so.
