Toytec TU3 spacer kit ... I didn't really invest in a costly lift as I had purchased the TRD package when I bought my truck (that was my wife's idea) and I really didn't think I was going to invest as much as I have in the truck (then found this forum ... thanks guys). I figure I'll drive my truck for 30k and try and get my moneys worth out of the TRD package, then swap to coils.

As I said, if I could do it over again I would have bought +1's and since my 2 piece wheels cost me $415 a piece, I'm not replacing them. I figure I'm better off wearing my current tires out and replace them with 35's. I think you'll be happy with the +1's with 295's. I don't know if just replacing the front bumper would alleviate having to do the CMC as I think that would only give you more clearance in the front. But what do I know, I've never changed my bumper.

Well my wife told me that since her Tacoma is lifted with wheels and tires that she must wear the pants in the family, hahahaha.

Can I start a gofundme to get my lift and tires? I need my pants back. Hahaha

So besides the Toytec Boss, what would be the next best option? Just seeing what else I could possibly go with and wouldn't be as expensive.

5100s all around would be much cheaper. Probably around $500 with shackles/diff drop/etc..

You could do 6112's front/5100 rear for like $700 maybe $900 with shackles and diff drop etc..

What is everyone's favorite brand of tire? Leaning towards BFG KO2s right now, but should I be looking at something else?

Ive had great luck with Generals and Toyos. A lot of it really depends on where you live and what your doing though. Also if your still curious about offset IMG_0994.jpgIMG_0993.jpgIMG_0990.jpgthese are +1 offset with flares. Fuel Pumps 18x9 on 35's

I have SCS SR8 18" with a +25 offset and 295/70/18 Nitto ridge grapplers and no chopping but will do some liner trim and push in, also taking front mud flaps off!

Excuse me for not seeing your previous posts.

What size lift, and are the UCA adjustable type? Why replacing the UCA?

Fishing for some answers to my 08 on 6 inches

Well, I think I'm going to go with the +1 and probably 295/70R18. I dont want to stick out too far beyond the Flares as it will look goofy. The +1 looks to line up pretty good, slightly past, so it will look a ton better than it does now. Then I'd like to go 35s and still might, but the 295 is only slightly smaller. Maybe they'll be a tad lighter too and help every so much more on mpg.

    That's another reason why i think I'm going 295s vs the 35s.

Even the 295's going to require quite a bit of cutting with +1

Yeah, I figure if I get a good place to do the work, I'm not worried about all that, as long as it's clean.

So, BFG doesn't make a 295/70R18. Should I go with a different brand, or look at a different size? Damn this is so difficult to figure out.
