Looks great. Did you have to use wheel spacers?

Didn't need spacers and ran w/o them for a week once I had these tires installed (more than enough clearance from upper CA/etc).
But, I didn't like how "tucked in" the OEM wheels are so I got a set 1" BORA spacers regardless, to achieve this:

Looks great! Just a question, I've never used spacers before; many years ago I heard these spacers were problemetic as they weren't as strong as a wheel with offset and could cause damage; have they gotten better?

I'm running them on my 2014 for the last 3 years now without issues. I'm not sure I would run aluminum spacers on 3500 but so far so good in this 1/2 ton. I tow a trailer with a Kubota compact utility tractor every other week or so without issues.

    I've been towing a 4000lbs trailer/boat package on spacers for over a decade now-no issues....and I don't drive slow with it.

I’ve made all kinds of manual adjustments to the ride height, and somehow the Neutral settings are all out of whack. Anyone know how to factory reset this system and put it back to where it was at factory so I can make the adjustments from there?

Someone uploaded a pdf document of the process to reset your rear air system. I think it came from a dealer.

Spent a while on the phone with Jeff yesterday from Westcott. Evidently the potentiometers that control the height can get out of sync and have to be clocked in the exact same position to work properly. Somewhere along the way, mine have become out of sync and is going to take the dealership hooking up software to the system to put them back in the correct position. I’m taking it to the dealer today.

sounds like you moved the sensor while installing the new arms. Shouldnt take long at the dealer

Are different arms needed? I thought there was room with the existing arms to slightly raise the rear.

no need for new arms, really. Most of us just adjust the oem arms and go with that.

It’s proving to be a chore at this point. 3.5 hours later and still here.

Cool thanks for the confirmation. I'm planning for the TRD lift in the front and raising the rear through this method.

Odd that the airbag is not in constant contact with the axle. Even with adjustments it's still floating on what looks like a plastic puck rubbing on a metal plate.

I think that is the airbag cover. At least that is what I noticed when I was under my truck the other day. The airbags are actually attached to the axle.

That's what I figured. I was just under it again to put the levers all the way up since I would still hit the bump stops. The rear now sits about 2" higher than the front which I would think is how it should sit stock. It never really had a rake to it until now. Should make for a much better ride over bumps and the many potholes these days. lol

I don’t have the comfort mode but, it definitely improved the ride. No slamming down on the bump stops anymore. This is probably how the truck should have come from the factory.

So I’m in a bit of a jam as well. Installed my kit yesterday and the passenger side sensor was spun around and I’ve spent two hours last night trying to sync it back with the driver side but no luck. Does anybody know what what to do at this point?

The height sensor that the bracket connects to is now out of sync with the system because when I was loosening the nut holding the OEM bracket to put on the bracket that comes with the Westcott AVS kit, the positioning of the sensor turned as well. As a result it’s out of sync with the driver side sensor and the air up/down switch won’t operate properly now. Also, it’s aired all the way down.

Ok, bonehead move of the day. I initially installed them upside down. So today I installed the brackets correctly and all is well! Wheels and tires go on tomorrow :)

Lol happens to the best of us! I installed the afe aftermarket levers makes the truck 100% level at the neutral position if you have a front end leveling kit.

I'm getting my Platinum Hybrid with AVS/Air in a couple weeks. I wanted to get the TRD lift kit but the dealer and this forum told me it's not compatible with AVS. I just want to fit 35" tires on the stock rims.
    • Is there an advantage to go with the Westcott collar lift over the Amazon spacers?
    • If I go with Westcott collar lift do I need the FRONT ONLY kit or the front and rear kit?
    • Do the brake lines need to be extended?
    • Do I need wheel spacers?
    • Does a leveling kit void the warranty?

You can fit 35s with a 1.75in lift and adjusting rear air ride levers. No need for anything else
