And if it came from B-ham area in general (or east of), it may be my long lost AC Limited brother. My truck was originally sold by Sunny King in Anniston AL. Owner lived between there and B-ham.

I love that you know this. Too many people don’t know the details. Just like I know that mine came from Cloninger Toyota in Salisbury, NC and I have every single service record starting 11/00.

I wish I had all the service records. I know where the 1st owner got all their oil changes, their name, the bank they worked at and what position they held, and that they used the truck as a "company vehicle" for the bank (probably to save $$ somehow).

It's the 2nd owner who barely had it for 10k miles and a year or two, I have no idea what they did. I suspect it was construction related based on some things I found. And I know someone did work on the rear brakes and under the valve covers, but no clue what.

I got lucky. My truck was purchased and serviced and traded at the same dealership. I bought it from auction in 2006 as a wholesaler. The only reason that it went to auction is because it sat in inventory on a floorplan lease for more than 40 days. I guess no one wanted a base model SR5 at that time.

When I was halfway through working on my jalopy I entered the VIN @ Toyota and found a few service records. It was quite telling when it had it's "accident" and that it had sat for roughly 6-7 years. That explained the fully rusted fuel tank, and a ton of other things.

Took the truck camping for the first time this weekend. Took off the toolbox so I could pack the bed full. Think I’ll leave it off for a bit to see how I like it. It was also a good test run to see what a typical full camping load did to the rake. Still had 1.5” of rake with it loaded up.

no Mods... has new headlights and some dings on the side... just purchased a dent puller and Bilstein 5100's for it..... absolutely love it in the 2 weeks I've owned it...

Shifty, How is the road noise with those tires?? anyone have quiet options that would handle mild off road situations?? Thanks in advance!!

I like that truck bed build. It looks simple, but functional......and removable. I see some pretty nice builds on YouTube, but then you no longer have a truck to do truck things if you need to.

I'm not sure there's any aggressive-tread A/T tire out there w/o significant noise, honestly. It's the nature of the beast.

These are pretty agressive, and nowhere near as noisy as I've heard out of M/T tires, but still plenty of hum at speed. It starts in the 30mph-40mph range, but I don't notice it much because I've got my radio loud. I disturb my neighbors. I want to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Sorry, tangent, couldn't help myself, as @KNABORES said not long ago, if you don't get the reference, we probably can't be friends. But yeah, you're gonna get some road hum with these. They look WAY more aggressive in person than pics relay. Really makes Nitto RG's look like Michelin Defenders.

I’m running the Kenda Klever RT tires which are like a hybrid between a AT and MT and they are pretty loud I’m already thinking of switching to the Falken’s that I’ve run before and are really quiet for an AT. I thought mine was actually wheel bearings going out and it was just the tires humming lol

I wouldn't call these Mickeys I've got "loud" or even "moderately loud". I've been in trucks with loud tires. These are louder than what I wanted, but at most, I'd say they've got a minor hum to them with the radio off. There was another thread on here in the wheel & tire subforum where people were saying they were quiet for what they are. Main reason I bought them, good wear, good manners, and supposedly quiet.

Yes the wildpeak at3w’s. And I love the way the Klever’s look and perform and there price point but I had 2 that were out of round and couldn’t be balanced and again mine are pretty noisy
