Saw this one today at local park. Club of retirees that move around AZ and Cali. He had 5 super locks on trailer door and kept trying to slam it shut as I walked up to talk to him. About 1500lb trailer weight.

Got my suspension all finished up this weekend went with bilsteins 6112 set at 2” for the front and 5160’s with ATS heavy duty springs for the rear. So far the lift is sitting right ar 2” for the front and 1” in the rear

Can you post links to the suspension components? I would like to run the same setup on my AC, I think that's a great look. Thank you

For the front I went with Freedom off road upper control arms and Bilstein 6112 set to 2" and for the rear I went with ATS HD leaf springs and Bilstein 5160 but you can easily just run the the 5100's all around or just in the rear for a cheaper setup.

Please read this reply in full, trying to save you some grief, plus save you some legwork.

Having an access cab that's 2WD you need to be really careful about what you choose because what works for that V8 + 4WD double cab - understanding his DC has significantly different suspension from AC/RC trucks, it's basically like the Sequoia - is NOT going to work the same for your 2WD access cab.

First, you'll want to check the "Suspension, wheel and tires ..." section in this thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

Going with 5100s all around, with the front struts at the bottom notch, with Old Man Emu (OME) 2883 springs should get you just about level. But to get your truck looking like his, you'll probably want to go with 5100 + OME 2884 up front to get a hair higher than level in front, then and an add-a-leaf kit out back for an extra inch. That thread should have the vast majority of what you need to know.

Second, I also recommend checking out @2006 Tundra AC's build thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/a-kids-tundra.89748/

As his truck and your truck will be more-closely matched, and you can learn from some of his suspension ... I'll call them 'mistakes', but they're not really mistakes so much as mis-steps, and it'll save you some grief seeing them.
