Very nice! We’re using a riding (because the wife mows lol) but everyone has said the zero-turns are well worth it.
61” - would be very nice!!!

 

I would have a hard time going back to a tractor style mower after a zero turn.

 

Some progress was made today...

 

In early January I, put down weed & Feed, air-rate, seed then let nature take over. I still get weeds, but in cali we always in drought. So if it comes up green in February it’s all good, compared to a few of my neighbors. They either have drought tolerant designed yards or weeds and dirt. The city sends a bill and note saying your over your water allotment each month. Hard to win that battle, so Im good with green weeds.

 

A mono-culture lawn is boring.

 

Same yard today, new owners do not care at all.

 

Damn!!!! That’s definitely crazy to see.

 

we saw our old house we sold about 3 years ago. it was on 5 acres and looked like a golf course. today it can't even pass for a decent grazing pasture.

 

4 inches of rain expected over the next 48 hours, half of it today.
My practice tee project under wraps until conditions improve.

 

And I thought the WA rain was bad. That’s nuts!

 

We had over 7 feet of rain locally last year, nearly 7 inches for '19 by this Saturday.

Zero progress has been made on my Golf tee since I laid the tarp over it.

Not many weeds this year, but I contribute that to the weed& feed I put down in Feburary...at least I hope so.

 

After fighting for two years I think this is the year I finally kick the dandelions asses!

 

Man, all you people with green, luscious lawns. I'm over here struggling with sand (not sandy soil, SAND) and my field of weeds with tree roots growing across it. I'll post pics when I get back from my business trip.

 

Nothing special but it looks nicer than lawns I have had in the past lol and not the front as the front lawn is quite small.

true story. I pretty much have 3 mowing patterns I use for my lawn. I use one more often than orders because its fastest, but when I do that pattern I do swap which direction I make my "lines" 180° , idk if that makes sense or you get a visual. In my head I can explain it must better lol

February 2017, when we bought the house. So much ugly brush. It felt like an adventure just getting to the pond 100 yards away.
