lol I like how your truck is almost as tall as your house.

I live in a condo, so about the only thing I do is plant flowers in front of my house and along the driveway, lawn is bermuda and the HOA pays somebody to cut it.

I will say if you live any further south than about the middle of Kentucky or Virgina, bermuda or zoysia grass is the way to go. It can take the heat and drought.

Kentucky Blue grass works around where I live(Nashville) if you have irrigation, fertilize it, talk lovingly and whisper sexy things to it. I mean if you are a dedicated Hank Hill, you can have a beautiful lawn with that stuff, but its just too much work IMO. Bermuda or Zoysia, once you establish it, is a no muss/no fuss sort of lawn, it just turns brown in the winter.

you can spend as much as you desire on lawn equipment and it can be addicting. this year I purchased a used reel mower (like they use on golf greens). I cut at least twice a week. right now my lawn is .75 height of cut and yep you can do that in Florida. first time I've had zoysia grass and I really enjoy it.

if you want to learn more about taking care of you lawn go look up The Lawn Forum. lots of good folks over there and you will see some amazing lawns.

It's Georgia where we don't get much snow, and it doesn't stay around more than 2 or 3 days when we do.

My driveway is 800 feet long and wants to drift in a blowing snow so all you get done is cleaning it out!

What part of Ohio? I had the same problem with drifts when I lived in central Indiana
