The fender is awesome; my daughter bought that one as well! Very cool.

i have quite a few as well; just got the Mercedes’ line last month. Interestingly enough, the set came with stickers for Hamilton and bottas. I am not a Hamilton fan at all so I gladly put the Bottas stickers on as he is my favorite f1 driver - I hope Alfa Romeo comes out with a new set this year.

The wife and I decided to make a new family tradition of building/adding to a Lego Christmas village.
Bought the first piece this week:

She is more excited than I am to build it.

I also ordered a Titanic, but it's going to stay in the box for a while.

we get my oldest the new Christmas set each year and practically have a whole village of them now.

I have been cooling off buying sets lately but bought the nifeliz pirate ship set from Amazon. I got turned off to the lego prices, especially after the black panther set came out. The pirate ship was a fun build, it’s huge and it was very reasonably priced.

Yeah. A week or so ago I was at my parents visiting. Mentioned that he wanted the "Lego Millenium Falcon" (the 'cheap' one) for Christmas. Then I told them of when the collectors edition came out how I almost bought one but couldn't justify a literal toy for that much. So, here we are. It's a present for the both of us.

Yes. 7500+ pieces. The book is an inch thick 492 pages, 18x11" pages double sided.
    9vOOD70usBNqaUSYei9Vf-GjvOH_F7zdutEt6ux8_a18323aa3546c68bb00baeba69534d899e589fd6.jpg

I have an idea, but don't want to throw it out there yet. But there's a place it can be displayed safely. More importantly that space is also in his room. And yeah, I've seen the coffee table one, it really is that big. The table we are building on is 36" deep which is the listed front to back width of the model.

We just did the AT-AT and it took us two weeks. Good luck!

Also let us know how fragile it is. If you breathe on the AT-AT it falls apart.

So if you look at the two little red pegs on the side of the head here you can see the only thing that holds the side of its face on. It’s the same story for the sides. Parts of the top aren’t connected at all. They are just free floating.

the pressure of holding the body up is forcing the legs apart.
