Legos….

They are still sealed in the shipping boxes I have two new Millennium Falcons still factory sealed I’ve invested in as well. I’ve got many other popular sets that are new in the box and far out of production. I imagine one day they may be worth a little more than I paid, hopefully. Lol

 

Yeah I keep telling my wife we should buy two of each set. Put one together and then keep one to sell. Eventually you pay for both by selling the one. The Land Rover I bought my daughter for Christmas is already $200.

 

That’s how I originally started getting two of each, but then I had too many things going on to find the time to assemble one so I just keep stacking them up. Lol

 

Iv been thinking the same thing about the Lego Titanic.....$1,360 now for two sets.... Eventually sell one for $1,400?

I got this for Christmas and was able to get it done about 2 weeks ago. The detail is crazy. I just wish the instruction book didn't have a black background.

 

Got this for Christmas and I think recent activity on this thread inspired me to get it done today.

It also doesnt hurt that my 5 yo loves to do them with me. He built most of it with me handing him pieces.

Bigger in real life, pushing 12" or so. The cargo doors are really well built. That was fun to put together.

 

Built the police station recently and the black background was awful. Definitely a bad design decision.

 

You can now pre-order the 3 new Star Wars helmets on Lego.com. $60 each though so I skipped the dark trooper for now.

 

Built the Supra today with my 4 year old. He was able to do about 90% of it if I helped him identify the pieces. Not bad for a 7+ kit.

 

Hey guys, here is what I got from the March 1 release. I am super excited about the Countach.

 

I have been ordering a few more sets lately; I got the Ford raptor, sky Walker red 5 helmet, the mandalorian helmet, the Porsche ev car, and the infinity stone gauntlet. My office is filling up and I need some more shelves!!!! My coworkers love the displays and when I am on zoom calls the others almost always ask
About the lego sets in the background!

 

Just got the Bonsai Tree set for the office. It’s pretty slick in that you can swap out the green pieces for the pink ones to make it “bloom.” Will post pics once I get a chance to build it.

 

i have this one too - and with the cherry blossoms blooming soon I am going to switch out the leaves. I have a real problem. My office used to have a lot of shelf space. It’s ALL taken up by legos and I have people coming to my office weekly asking “what’s new on display?”

 

Now I've seen everything!!!!!Lay me to rest. LOL

My neighbor, who we are good friends with, just started her new job at Lego corporate office. We now have a hook up on 50% discount on any sets we want.

 

So, group buy? Lol. That’s awesome.

 

Giving her some time to settle in before we take advantage, but by this christmas, it should be game on.

 

Got a season pass this year; already been twice. Pretty cool place! Loved Lego as a kid, but still consider myself more of a Playmobil person I think..

edit: if any of you need me to pick you up something they might sell there, let me know. They have a million of those little figurine guys.

 

I love Legos and had plenty as a kid but they took a backseat to my Tinker Toys

 

Took my 4 year old son to Legoland NY today. We had a great time. Some amazing things to see. If there was one downside is it's buid at the top of a mountain so lots of hills to contend with. I'll be back

 

I decided to treat myself. Well the wife tired to get it for my birthday and just so happened to check with the local Lego store. It’s definitely a challenging build thus far.

I remember my kindergarten classroom having giant Tinker Toys... Those things were awesome.
