You got the wrong bulbs. They don't even look like they're manufactured like a halogen bulb so I can't even give you any advice on those bulbs or performance. Everyone has been getting the Auxbeam NF-S1 bulbs in the H4 (headlight) and H11 foglight for 2014-2019. The reflector on those bulbs will be on the bottom.

Just read this thread and did some looking around and seems like most everyone likes the Auxbeam.

I just ordered the fog lights mentioned here but ordered these Auxbeam bulbs for my headlights instead. I think they are slightly newer design and maybe updated LED chips???

Auxbeam H4 Led Headlight Bulb F-S6 Series Led Headlights with 2Pcs of H4/9003/HB2/P43T Led Conversion Kit 60W 6000LM SMD Led Chips -1 Year Warranty

I'll let you know how they work out.

Cool but no thanks for me on those either. They have fans and so they'll be noisy and the leds are not aligned light halogen bulbs are therefore I don't believe it will have a proper cut off or alignment. The nf-s1 is fanless.

You do make a good point with the fan... I didn't think about that. Also I didn't realize they didn't mimic the halogen. I guess I should stay with the proven bulb.

    Order switched.

Definitely could be a possibility. You can try to rotate them and find out. With the NF-S1, you install the bulbs with the reflector cup on the bottom.

Beamtech are a good choice too. They're probably manufactured by the same company under a different name. The Auxbeam and beamtech look identical.

You may need to try a different position since those bulbs aren't built like a regular halogen bulb. I know for a fact this is how the NF-S1 orientation needs to be.

Just installed my Auxbeam headlights and fog lights. I have to say that the fog lights are very impressive but I'm under impressed with the headlights. I feel like the output with just the headlights is under powered and on high beam they are much better.

I've got them oriented like the stock bulb with the metal cup on the bottom. Is that correct for this bulb? I also have my headlights set to 0 on the adjustment dial.

Here are some pictures but they make them seem better than what I experienced.

I installed the Auxbeam headlight and fogs Saturday. Very easy using a drill driver and small screwdriver. The dogs were much harder to change than the headlights. I ended up pulling the whole fog light out the front. Great write up thanks guys.

No sir. That rubber boot is important regardless of bulb. You need to find a way to make it fit.

If you twist the black base on the Auxbeam bulb it wills eosrste where you can mount the back base and put the boot over top of it. After that you insert the bulb and make sure the cup is on the bottom and it should lock in just fine

I just installed the Hikari led. Was able to snag it during a lightning deal for under $25. Looks good and very bright. Didn’t see much glare from the stock reflectors. I’m going to adjust the driver side downward a bit. The photo is with the garage about 3 feet away.
