I have a 1794. Just get it and start enjoying it.

I'm also a Clemson grad. So, Go Tigers! And see you boys again soon.

There's a thread on a GM board about a dude with a 3.0 Chevy diesel that is a poop show right now. I guess a secondary ECU failed and GM doesn't even have a source for a replacement part. He's been fighting a buy back for 3 mos because they can't tell him when a replacement part will be available. The truck is not even drivable.

I revisited the Red 1794 at lunch today...I really need to stop

I played against Dabo back when we all called him Chris. Saw him at the Raceway gas station on hwy 76 back in 2016. We had a good time catching up. I hadn't seen him since high school.

If we were to lose a championship game, I'm glad it was him.

Yep, the first time you mentioned seeing the Barcelona Red, I figured you were hooked. You might not know it yet, but you are!

Same. I was 'forced' to drive 55 on the NOSE yesterday by your standard Sunday driver. I hated it....

...and later realized that as a result, in the middle of the Ozarks, with craploads of hills, I got 18.8MPG.:thumbsup:

There is a worldwide (COVID related) computer chip shortage. I'm hearing that some forms of chips have gone from lead times of 26 weeks to 100 weeks. This problem gonna be around for quite some time.

Interesting thread. I ended up canceling an order with a dealer Monday for a 2021 GM. The rear window leak thread finally was enough among other things to make me rush outside in pouring rain and hug my Tundra in my driveway. It was your typical Hollywood “make up” romantic scene. I think I’ll always favor things that work the way they’re intended over fancy features. My Tundra has just under 42,000 miles and it’s never let me down. Hard to get rid of something just for a new lust that wasn’t going to last.

Yup. I work in international supply chain and lead times for everything I have a feeling are going to continue.

West Coast ports are still extremely backed up and congested and as cargo owners have tried to develope new routes through new ports, it’s putting a lot of additional volumes at other ports throughout the country that are now starting to see congested and backlogs due to increased volume.

I’m guessing micro chips are airfreighted??? It’s definitely more expensive via shipping by container, and obviously much faster(especially with the dwell times ships have now once arriving to the US). And those who normally ship by container and can afford or desperately need their product, are spilling their demand into the airfreight service so I wouldn’t be surprised if there starts to be delays with airfreight too just due to demand.

Just a note on the screens, nearly every manufacturer uses Harman as their supplier for infotainment, even if the actual branding varies. So yes, the same people who make the Ford screen probably make the Ram (and Toyota, and Mercedes, etc.) screens.

I stopped for some fast food as we were on the road home. I slowed to 65 ish )to eat and drive) and less on the secondary roads, about 70 miles later. I got over 19 mpg.

The only problem with owning a tundra is finding this forum and all the money you spend on little mods.

Some of them are like wtf why didn’t Toyota do this (drivers side grab handle come on man) and others are like hell yes I need that in my life

    But they all cost money:spending:
