That gr Corolla engine and manual is nice but I'm almost 60 and that hatch won't work for me either

Great score! I am learning the more I do myself, the more it opens me up to good deals on used vehicles that might need a bit of love that other potential buyers would be scared off by.

I’m about to do a big job on my LX—radiator, serp belt, hoses, WP, tensioner, thermostat, idler pulley. I’ve never done anything like it before, but I feel confident with a little help from the forums and YouTube university

Completed the timing belt and waterpump over the weekend, readjusted the rear brakes and lifted the rear 2 inches. The brakes when I purchased were mushy and went to the floor. I knew I had some work cut out for me. I didn't take any pictures but this forum helped out a lot. First I had to bleed all 4 corners with my brake bleeder and there were better but when I came to a stop I had to do the first pump of the brakes then the second was firm and engaged the brakes. The thing that's most important about these trucks IS the back brake shoes have to be adjusted properly and the e brake has to be adjusted as well to actuate the rear brake shoe adjuster and engage the rear brake cylinders. Plus you have to adjust the bolt on the back plate of the outer brake shoe assembly. Everything on mine were out of spec, the parking brake cable for the e brake was routed wrong and the brake shoes were not even adjusted close to the drum. So I had some issues and fixed them all and brakes work as advertised and e brake works within the first 4 clicks.

I write all this to say make sure your trusted mechanic whether dealer or independent shops make sure they know what they are doing on your truck. Its our investment and safety that's at stake. Have a good weekend!!

I will say, the pics make those u-bolts look pretty anemic.

With a longer bolt, I'd expect something fatter. Longer = more susceptable to bends. But you can't beat that price for everything. I just worry about quality, knowing bad crap can happen if one of those u-bolts fails. Maybe worse than what could happen if your brakes crapped out.

This is why I don't buy parts on scAmazon. If something bad did actually happen, who are you going to sue? FLYCLE probably isn't even a real company.

I get it the reasoning, but to be honest if those u-bolts break because of normal driving and light towing I definitely have bigger problems.

True. Even with light towing, I wouldn't recommend using blocks, but I also don't know what you're towing. AAL won't be as cheap, but would offer more benefits.

I've towed with my 16 a uhaul trailer and 3500 lb vehicle no problems with a 1 inch block I've towed with my departed 04 first gen with 2 inch blocks and never had an issue. Now when it comes to off roading and mountain adventures I would never use blocks for that. So it's imperative to install what you use your vehicle for to determine if one should go the rough country route or simple 1inch or 2 inch block lifts. In my experience and use it has worked out well for me.

Yes you-tube university is nice plus with the help and experience from others you can do almost anything with the right tools. Once you do something and complete it, you get addicted. Most of the time it boils down to trouble shooting. If your trouble shooting skills are top tier the the mechanical part is the easy side you know? A monkey can change brakes, spark plugs, oil, transmission fluid, fuses and relays. But if you don't know how it works and come together plus knowing how to read schematics then how can you fix something? That's just my 2 cents.

I can say with 1000% certainty that those are poorly advertised and will not fit the 2022-2024 Tundra.

Lol I'm happy with the purchase and I can give an update later on any issues that may arise. But that is what the forums are for to share each other's likes or dislikes and make comments on each other's add ons to their rigs. I could care less what someone thinks of what I purchased or who I purchased it from. Is the part of good quality? I think so in my opinion. I've worked on Apache helicopters in the Military and contracted overseas and contracted in the states and I can tell you I know the tensile strength and metallurgy of nuts and bolts which came with this particular kit in question. If I had any doubts in my mind that it would fail or Crack due to normal driving I wouldn't have used it period! So let's get off the topic of lifting blocks and where I purchased them from. If I have an issue with them you fellows will be the first to know. That's all I'm saying. I'm happy with them and maybe some one else may want to try them out. But don't get discouraged by someone mentioning where they came from or they might Crack.

I dont front or lie about something to appease them. I'm a straight shooter. Didn't lie about where I purchased or the vendor. If someone didn't like it then move on. I'm not trying to make this thread personal. We are all grown and adults.

You are 2000 percent right about not fitting 2024 tundra. But you also didn't scroll through the applications for the fit. We all know newer tundra don't have leaf springs for blocks. But maybe they have coils and shocks like 2.5 gen? I don't know but they list them for the fronts only.

    Screenshot_20240412_181625_Chrome.jpg
    Screenshot_20240412_181612_Chrome.jpg

You can see where they bundle them at the bottom for fronts. Just do your research for your year and applications geez

Thank you for the warm welcome and I'm here to help others with issues they may have or not seen yet. I don't care what somebody thinks what I've purchased was good or not. I'm a big boy and can hold my own with the best. Have a good night sir.

well can you tell me this....
An apache took off in Huntsville this morning, flew a short sortie and looked like it was losing altitude at Guntersville close to the Guntersville airport then went dark. Obviously they can turn their transponders off no problem so he went dark.
Later this evening he popped up in Poland...
My thoughts are they loaded him in the back of a C17 or C5M and hit the road for poland. What say you, how else would this choppa be in two places in the same day?
